Don't mess with a Marine ever Posted : 8 Sep, 2024 06:03 AM I am just a giant size humbled Civilian here to tell my story on just how great our troops are... I'm 41 years old and I have been competing in strongman competitions for 20 years, I have been lifting weights since I was 9.. I'm 6'5 and 300 lbs.. I occasionally do boxing for a local amateur league in my town.. it helps that I'm 3 times the size of my opponents for the most part.. I always felt I was invincible until I was matched up in the ring against a young 19 year old Marine from Boston who is no bigger then 5'10 and about 190 lbs.. I thought I could take him since he was tiny next to me.. but I was dead wrong.. he toyed with me for a minute, and then it got serious.. his punches felt like death and I became scared for my life.. I was kissing his feet.. he broke my jaw and cheek bone and they had to stop the fight to save me.. the fight lasted less then 2 minutes, the longest two minutes ever for me... HE COULD HAVE ENDED MY LIFE IN THAT FIGHT IF HE WANTED TO AND I COULD NOT HAVE STOPPED HIM... I was just so glad when it was over... What hard lesson learned.. never mess with one of our trained soldiers.. they are trained warriors and even I am no match. I forever bow my knee to them that's him on the left and me on the right Post Reply

From here, I think you can learn more than ever to mess with a trained soldiers, but also not to underestimate a man based on appearances, like how Goliath did with David. Don't mess with a Marine ever Posted : 25 Sep, 2024 03:03 PM I was also a teen leader for many years.. that boy that crushed me grew up in our youth group, but he was always causing trouble and picking on the girls. I had to reprimand him all the time to the point where he hated me.. his parents are also rich and very popular in the church.. so when he graduated high school and joined the Marines. he came back to visit and year later and was very nice and politely challenged me to a boxing match in my league.. I didn't see the harm in it so I agreed, but I think he knew he had the skills to beat me up and he wanted that moment of me at his feet.. he was probably dreaming of that moment for years and he finally got it..
