Not wanting to hurt anyonePosted : 12 Aug, 2022 09:06 AMHi there. I have gotten some interest from people that I don't necessarily want to develop a friendship with. My profile has just that with details, 'looking for friends' or someone special, but there gets to be sometimes, more requests than I feel comfortable with. I have a hard time saying "i'm not interested in you, or friendship." It feels rude, but I don't now how to say it, other than directly. Any input on being polite yet ending a conversation inquiry from an interested woman that I'm not interested in? |

Not wanting to hurt anyonePosted : 13 Aug, 2022 05:25 AMI have to decline on quite a few myself. A lot of them live outside my specified mileage, so what I usually say is: Thank you so much for reaching out, but I am looking for someone closer to home. God bless you in your search! |
