Admin	HI! i get to introduce myself. :- ) Posted : 4 Aug, 2009 06:07 PM Well i have been on this site on and off now for about a year, and i feel like everytime i have come on the "about me" is different. :/ but i guess one thing that has not changed is that i seriously need God in my life. It's not that i can't do anything in my life without God but i choose to go after the creator of this world instead of His creations. If we all really wanted to, we could put God on the side burner and do whatever. We could find pleasure and satisfaction, BUT nothing that compares to God's love and peace. For a while i tried living my life without God, but it really sucks. I found no joy, or peace. My heart was becoming cold to anything that signified a real relationship. If you have read my profile i write a lot about passion, and it's because i have felt a passionless fireless life. That's because i had a huge empty hole inside of me from not following God. I was created by Him, and was made to love Him. without that, i am nothing. I guess what i am trying to say is here i am, flaws and all, but still standing; only by God's grace. Maria Post Reply

You're hitting that time in your life where ya, where does the rubber meet the road so to speak when it comes to faith and life. Chances are you're a passionate person, judging by what you've written, and you are so right - ya, you can do all kinds of things without Christ, but you can do ALL things through Christ. I learned the hard way that doing things my way only led to heartache, disappointed, and eventually death (fortunately the Lord stopped me before I got that far). You're on the right path - stick the Lord's side, you won't regret it. Yes, it'll be hard - but I learned the hard way that those things that make the walk difficult, happen anyway. You know it seems like everything is just getting harder, and at times i still find myself wanting to run from God. I think what gets me through is the thought that God just has me in this purification process. He's is revealing those things that are dirty inside of me so that i can choose to get rid of it or hold on to it. but really thank you for really seeing what i was trying to say.
