View Profile History	God is good Posted : 6 Feb, 2018 02:42 PM More bad than good is what I've experienced. I have several posts scattered around the forums outlining my experiences. I am now here for two main reasons: I decided to stick it out a while instead of leaving a site after a few weeks or months of ineptness; and entertainment. Entertainment you say? Yep. How so, you ask? Well, I enjoy posting in forums such as this. I like writing (typing?). I like exchanging my thoughts with others. The down side to that is that you almost invariably attract flies to your threads, which manifest themselves as snooty / rude people, stupid / clueless people, and various other kinds of folks who make it very clear why THEY are having problems meeting someone. Thus is the price of posting in a public place where you cannot know your audience. But, it can also be fun when you have a good exchange and maybe learn something. Also, I get a kick out of some these profiles. Women with ridiculous pictures, silly profiles, stratospheric expectations... sorry to say it, but some people are clueless and it shows. Also, some ladies just look good, and so the eye candy factor lends a little amusement to the site. Unfortunately, dating sites, including the venerable eHarmony, have offered me little else.
