To all the men here on CDFF: do you believe that God has made a woman, specially, for you, one who is your perfect match and will fit all your needs? And to all the women here on CDFF, I ask you the same question: do you believe that God has made a man, specially, for you, one who is your perfect match and will fit all your needs? I do believe that for every man God made a female match, just like He did with Adam. Anyone who would like to talk with me about this and about how one can absolutely confirm one's God given match--let's totally chat :)

Hi Sedahlia

I do not believe that God has a special match for each male and female.

I must hasten to say that I believed this myth for years until I discover that it is not so. Those who taught us this myth were misguided themselves.

God has given every man and woman freedom of choice including your mate. However, like anything else in life we are to seek his guidance and direction. What I can say for certain is that God has a specific purpose for every male and female born. Seeking God's guidance will help us to make the right choice as he will steer us in the direction of someone who will compliment our purpose if we truly allow him to and even so we can still make our own decision as the one who best suits us may not be the one we desire.

The same way God does not choose our profession etc. We discover God as we allow him to guide us on the journey of our decision.

I believe where a mate is concerned if you truly seek the Lord he will show you and allow things about the person to surface so that you can make a wise decision.

From my own life there is a gentleman that I was really in love with from my youthful days. We were good friends and I thought he would have been the one. I decided to really pray and fast about it. One night I got a dream that I was running after him and he kept disappearing. I also saw attitude that really turn me off but I was so in love and thought he was the one that I ignored these signs. Anyway I kept praying. There was something so simple that I was blinded to, he never had credit to call, I am the one who is always calling and as a female you know how that goes. Yet I keep fooling myself that he was the one.

Eventually his really true colours came shining through he had a daughter (single dad) and was trying to use his child to visit my home as he knows I love children.. When I stood my ground he was displeased.

I hope I added value and insight to your topic.

I believe God may have one special person in mind for each of us. And I think it is very important not to rush into a romantic relationship with the wrong person.

Personally, I think it is better to develop friendships with various persons. Then gradually build closer relationships with those with whom one has much in common.

After we get to know people well, if there is a particular person with similar goals, interests, and morals, then can begin the progress toward becoming a couple.

Ideally, I think it is best to not even kiss someone until the minister states "You may kiss the bride" at the wedding. There will be plenty of time to practice romance after the wedding.

Even for married couples, I think romance is a small part of the 168 hours in a week, so it's important that a couple know each other well, have common goals, interests, and morals, and trust one another. Comnunication is a key.

I firmly believe that marriage ideally should be for a lifetime. with one particular person, whenever reasonably possible. In that sense, yes I think God has one person for each person who becomes married. And ideally, God will be first, above one's spouse.

1 Corinthians 7:25-39

v 36-37 appears to be an open and shut case as to free will. Which I agree. To the question of whether God has a person for each of us, the answer is based on the above because of free will. He knows all things (omniscient), but did not create us to control us because He wants us to accept him freely. Otherwise He would be seen as a dictator God.

God blesses us when; we acknowledge He is the Almighty (the Creator of the universe); we praise Him (merciful/just); confess our sins (our sinful nature); give thanks for His blessings upon us; ask (pray) for intercession (his will).

Thanks for listening and good conversation!

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, there is a connection between the purpose God gave you and your mate. For every man, God made a female match, and together they are to become one in purpose for the glory of God and His Kingdom of Heaven here on Earth. If you seek the one God has matched you with before you were even born, God willing, I believe you'll be together. The case for free will: Revelation 13:8 (http://biblehub.com/revelation/13-8.htm). God knew you would choose Him, before you chose Him; He chose you before you even knew you would choose Him.

Philippians 4:6-7 (TLB) Dont worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and dont forget to thank Him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience Gods Peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His Peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.

God's got every second of your life in His hands, all you have to do is not worry about anything because you trust in Him and understand that He's got you.

1 Corinthians 2:9 (TLB) ...No mere man has ever seen, heard, or even imagined what wonderful things God has ready for those who love the Lord.

Proverbs 9:10-12 (TLB) For the reverence and fear of God are basic to all wisdom. Knowing God results in every other kind of understanding. I, Wisdom, will make the hours of your day more profitable and the years of your life more fruitful. Wisdom is its own reward, and if you scorn her, you hurt only yourself.

And back to your perfect one (yes your perfect one) the one God matched you with: Even in Song of Solomon--despite King Solomon's 60 other queens, 80 concubines, and the un-numbered virgins available to him, the girl in the song, that dove and Queen to be--she was his perfect one, and among them all, without an equal. I suggest reading TLB version of Song of Solomon :)
