Greetings and many blessings from the buckeye state!

hello and good day to all! I am recently new to this and have found it very boring so far. at this point I will be honest I am not sure what I am looking for. I am recently widowed only 7 months. I know true love does exist and its a wonderful thing when you find that special soul mate and best friend. I know its out there....but at this point if its meant to be that I meet someone than it is going to be on Gods timing not mine. If not well then God has something better in store for me and my future. Guess good things come to those who wait! :) I have been through more than anyone can imagine in my life and my logic is God doesn't give you more than you can handle. If you face a BIG challenge you face a BIG destiny and God gives his greatest battles to his strongest soldiers. God had worked wonders in my life and I cannot thank Him enough. I am currently a full time college student at a Christian college where I am getting a double major for a bachelor of science degree. I currently have a 3.9 GPA. School is my passion. I love it. Once I graduate I will be guaranteed a job but it could be anywhere in the united states. I am family oriented. My family comes first no matter what. I also am a country girl all day. I love to bake and cook, I do tend to can jellies and fruits, my mom tells me im ocd on clean...but she raised me with the saying that cleanliness is next to godliness..lol,. I love to read, hunt, and fish. I love long walks in the country or just looking at the starts on the hood of my car, I like my quiet times too, I tend to be a good ball, I love to laugh, have fun, and make the most of any situation and to make lasting memories. I love cook outs, bon fires, and just hanging out with my friends which happen to be mostly friends from childhood (where I grew up is where I still live today. My school was so small I only had 46 in my graduating class and you tend to make close relationships with everyone in your class and everyone knows everyone. the joys of being in a small town. growing up with everyone seems to make things different...and become very close whether it be male or female.). everyone tends to tell me I light up a room when I enter it. I am looking for whatever life brings me at the moment. I do believe that a relationship is like building a house....it takes time and energy from both to make it be built but you should be best friends first and foremost. it is not something that is built over night or in a few weeks or months. it is something that can take years to do. if you don't build it properly then the foundation has a crack in it and it could crumble and ruin everything. I also do not believe in fwb or casual encounters if you know what I mean. It is wrong on so many levels and well its how most people are now days and it makes me sick. that should be saved for someone special and someone you truly love deeply...and marriage. it shouldn't be given away freely. I do not party but depending on the social event I may have one or two drinks. I never have been drunk nor would I ever get that far. I have never been in any trouble and it will stay that way. I do not mind talking to other who have...people can change...but I will be leery of you...actions speak louder than words. I am not one to judge only God can judge. I do not have any children...well I should rephrase that...I have one daughter but she is not living. I buried her with my husband almost 7 months ago. do I want children? I dunno at this point. I am 31 and the way I am if I can find a guy that respects me on how I am and my morals and values I may be too old to have kids....but there is always adoption. there are so many kids out there that don't have parents and just want to be loved. I do hope to find someone one day to see me for me and who I am and not my looks or what I have or don't have. Yes, I am considered old fashioned. Been told I was born in the wrong era or generation because of my beliefs and morals but I live by the Bible. If anyone has any comments or questions please feel free to send me a message. I enjoy some great conversations and encounters and will welcome it all! All I ask is that you be a complete gentleman and show respect. Best of luck to you all and what you are looking for and most of all many blessings on everyone!!!!!

Hello my name is Lorenzo,

I really loved reading what u wrote countrygypsy, you covered a lot of territory in what you wrote. I was sorry to read about your husband and child, both I believe were born again as you are. So, they are doing well I know. I have lost family members but they were born again and are doing great where they are.

You really have gone through quite a lot of pain for someone so young. I like what you wrote about GOD not putting us through more than we can handle.

I have painful moments in my life some I am still living out and some GOD has brought me through just recently. It has been a trial, but no testimony unless your tried. And it says in the book of Revelation that those who endure until the end will receive rewards. I love the book of Revelation, it is so exciting to know that through all that we have suffered we will be rewarded with those things that are eternal and not just temporary things. Neat huh!

And we can have the reward now of GOD'S presence in our hearts, JESUS in our hearts, and THE HOLY GHOST present in our hearts. Talk about being blessed, it just confirms the scripture that GOD will and can do exceedingly, abundantly all that we ask or think. All that we could imagine in our thoughts about how GOD would bless us and HE did more than we could ask or think about. :yay:

I think you are saying when you said that the chat forum is boring is that you prefer to be face to face with the person you want to converse with. If I am correct about this then I agree. It is more exciting to see the emotion and hear the emotion in someone's voice than to just read what they have written.

I have to go for now. I have been cooking and it is time to reap the rewards of my labor. Lol.

Have a wonderfully blessed time in CHRIST!

hello Lorenzo! I know my child and husband are in a better place. No doubt about that! :) Yes I have been through a lot and its more than just my husband and daughter. I actually had lost my grandfather, husband, and daughter all in the same week. I had a total of 14 deaths in one year last year all of whom was family and that I was very close to and on top of having many surgeries and much much more that I am not going to talk about on here. I don't believe this should be a form of "pity party." I am not looking for pity. I am a strong woman even though I am so young. I have been through more than anyone I know my age and people tell me all the time I am too mature for my age. Yes you would too if you had lived the life I have in just a short time. That's why I always say God does not give you more than you can handle. If you faced a BIG challenge you face a BIG destiny and that God gives his greatest battles to his strongest soldiers and lastly I can do ALL things through Christ Jesus.

I also love Revelation as well. One of my favorite verses is Revelation 3:20 Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man shall hear my voice I will come into him and dine with him and he with me. Says a lot! When I said that this was boring I meant this sight. I have messaged people and they don't reply. I think that's rude! What is the harm in at least just talking?? NOTHING! lol. But hey their loss not mine!!! I do hope you enjoyed your food! :eat: Many blessings!
