Admin	Sydney from Florida :) Posted : 4 Sep, 2013 09:36 AM Hey there! I'm currently studying holistic health and will be pursuing a BA in Psychology next year. I have a keen interest in the relationship between mind and body and how it relates to the quality of life people live. I believe everyone can be in control of his life and use his talents and gifts to influence the world in a positive way. Sadly, many people are in bondage to distorted Biblical beliefs that cause them to be handicapped in the faith, hiding from the world instead of boldly being its salt and light! My plan is to help abused women specifically to understand what freedom in Christ really is and help them reclaim their lives mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically - ESPECIALLY women in the church, which I firmly believe is a place where abuse is minimized or overlooked. I love meeting new people, having intellectual conversations, and interacting socially,though it does take me a while to get truly close to someone. A few passions of mine are playing the violin and cello, learning languages, health and wellness, trying interesting food, cooking, and experiencing life. Also, travel. I absolutely love experiencing the lives of different people. It promotes an open-minded and well-rounded mindset that enables a person to understand others, which is incredibly beneficial for Christians I believe :) Post Reply

Some of the young ladies from our local mission attend our church @ Redding Christian fellowship. Some have come from some real bad circumstances and seeing the progress of a few, over a period of time is nothing short of Awesome!
