This site seems to attract the same worldly, immoral folks as the rest of the sites, plus I've received a bunch of emails/winks/etc from women in the Philippines... Really? I went there in the Navy and saw the scam they worked on sailors; get some young desperate guy to fall for you, marry him, then move your entire family to the US, then divorce him and take all you can get. Sad to see it so prevalent on this site... Post Reply

I don't know what personal experiences you had when you were here or whatever horror stories you heard about Filipino women. I am not even here to question that because I understand that that has been from your "personal knowledge". I can only speak for myself, and yes, all other Filipino women who are here in good faith. I want you to know that NOT ALL Filipino women are scammers, worldly and immoral. Your statements are very accusing. What you said is a sweeping generalization and is prejudicial to all members of this site who happen to be a Filipino woman.How narrow-minded can you get. I expected better from people like you. Believe it or not we have feelings too and it is not at all unlikely that we are here in the hope of finding a sincere true love. By the way, you might want to reconsider calling yourself a "nice, clean-cut, Bible-believing christian man'. I'm sorry to say, but it doesn't seem to fit you. Good riddance. Post Reply

Christians make the choice (as God tells us to) and exactly like the unsaved, they consider these traps, snares and harmful twisting of the word of God to be entertainment...:excited: Post Reply

I've had terrible sexist experiences with an ethnic group considered foreigners in the US, I don't assume they'd all disrespect me. Post Reply

What made me react to his comment is that its is stated in such a way that he is assuming ( or at least it appears to me ) that all Philippine women are scammers, immoral and worldly. The effect of his statement to me is that the members of this site who are Filipino women will do the exact same thing as what he saw being done to the navies back here in the Philippines. Which is one of the main reasons, in my understanding, of why he does not want to be part of this site anymore. I don't even suppose that he gave them a chance to know them a little. From what I gather, he just assumed that all winks and messages that comes from a Filipino woman is automatically from a woman who is worldly, immoral and scammers. Which is why I felt a need to say something about this. The least that he can do is to have crafted his statements in such a way that is not prejudicial and insulting. This is after all a forum where everyone can read. A simple tact, in my opinion, is not too much to ask. And as for you christianartsy, thank you for not assuming that all minorities would not respect you. That is the exact point of my aboove comment and I appreciate that of you. Third, I went back and read the email/wink part of the statement and apparently I didn't read it well the first time, it is a general statement of emails and winks sent by Philippine women.
