I have been on the online dating scene for a few years now, and so far have had little to no success. Now I realize what God has been doing all along. I have not been pursuing Him with everything I am and have, and He has used my experiences with these sites to turn me towards Him wholeheartedly. I have had fun chatting with the few I have come across, and I appreciate all the encouragement, but now I believe the Lord is leading me away from the online dating scene. May He bless you all in your search for the man or woman He is preparing for you!! Just let me encourage you all on two things: - To both guys and girls - if you receive a message that is obviously heartfelt and not a scam or whatever, PLEASE reply. It hurts SO much worse to be ignored than simply to be rejected. Plus it actually shows that you care enough about the other person (think Philippians 2:3, people - consider others more important than yourself!!!!! God put this in His Word!!!) to go through the trouble of replying to them. - Above anything else, and I cannot emphasize this enough - PURSUE GOD!!!! He is worth way more than any relationship, romance, sexual fantasy, whatever it may be!! He knows what He is doing - trust Him!! God bless!! Post Reply
