I live in Maine and have met a few guys on this site in the 2 weeks I have been here and like many of you find that poof...they are banned. I find that strange. Must be that they have no life so they come here to jerk someone around? Probably the photo wasn't really them either. I have met a few that were excellent matches but their profile say "No Way will I move". I am 59 and have an awesome job plus a business of my own here. Most of the guys were retired with no committment. 2 were widowed and lonely, but not lonely enough to even think about meeting and the possibility of moving here. So what I am saying is, I am at the age where the older guys want to meet me...but they are retired....and I must work....so maybe I better just wait till I retire to find a mate...or just delete my account. Posted : 15 Feb, 2012 02:00 PM Hi Miss Livin... if this means anything to you, yer not the only one scratching your head wondering what's going on in some peoples heads... Wouldn't it be neat if there were a little more honor, courtesy and decency toward each other? God does know all and see all we do... yes even in private conversation! There are some unkind women and some scammers but for the most part I've had the pleasure to exchange some messages with some very wonderful Christian ladies, this is what keeps me from not getting too discouraged and throwing in the towel. Hope you'll hang on a bit longer, continue in the forums and give it a chance? Someone may come along who has theirs sights set on "livin the life in maine".... ya never know. PS. Not all the guys 50+ are chasing the young skirts, the ones who do don't know what they're missing out on passing by the beauties of a woman in her 40's-50's !:winksmile: Post Reply

One was a total scam, another one I think was a scam...I turned him in, but haven't heard anything. I sent him a message and his response was that he didn't have conversations with people unless they had a photo...head to toe, fully clothed, and then gave me his email to send them to...I'm like Are you kiddin me??? It says plainly to watch for those who give out their email first thing. I think some of the guys on here check out the new members and see if they can scam them. That being said, I'm going to hang on a bit longer and see if anything comes of this site. God knows the right person for me, whether I meet him on this site or somewhere else. Hang in there hun.
