Is it an emotional time of year for any of you? Being single is tough. I appreciate and love my family, but I am still missing a special someone in my life.

I think we all go through that to a certain extent. Imagine how bad it would be without the love of God to comfort us. It makes you feel sorry for those who don't know Christ....it must be even worse for them.

Keep looking up,

Leon

It is the hardest time of the year for sindle parents and divorced singles. But praise God His love surmounts any obstacles.

I think we blessed to have a Father who stays so close to us

Greetings from a former Minnesota resident. The first couple of years after our family broke up was very strange; it seemed as though I was in a parallel universe and I was outside looking in.Now the holidays have gotten more normal as the kids have grown up ,but Your'e right in that something is missing. I don't think God's best was for most of us to be alone. I know that at times of great loneliness , He has been my strength and comfort. Take care and feel free to write anytime. John.

Hi John.......I'm happy there is a posting, becuase I would like to form a friendship, if you'd desire to also, but you have me shut out by only allowing women who are up to age 50 on your profile.......if you change that setting to "any age" you'd get alot more feedback........interested in talking??

Hi John,

I think you articulated something many of us feel!! It's hard to describe the loneliness. But, you are right, God understands it altogether. I think you seem like a nice guy. We have similar interests. I thought of a good friend of mine when I saw you because she is from Souix Falls. (Did I spell that right?)

I hope things are better for you now. God bless you!
