Be aware that people view you in still picture mode not in video mode
Hello all of you seekers and those being sought. Remember this from the words of a thinking photographer. People do not view you and your life in video like you do. You see a video gives you lots of information. It tells you what to think. Whereas a still picture freezes the frame and captures a moment of time. It leaves a lot to the imagination. So one person looks in the eyes and sees beauty, another person sees wisdom, and another love. So when people look at you they can not just keep staring that is rude. So that sub consiously take a still photo of you use it to make decision about who you are, what you do, how you act, and where you are going. They make these decisions based on their view point not yours. They look at your life through their lens not yours. WAKE UP THAT IS HOW THE WORLD WORKS. Life is not fair. So in order to win you must show them the truth about you. Show them that you have it together, that you are cool, that you are confident, that you are successful, with your dress, your smile, your hair, and your demeanor. So look at your pictures and see what they are saying. Remember a picture is truly worth a thousand words.

Yes, Pluc I did read the whole post. I answered to the fact that you applaud her losing weight to be acceptable to men because that is exactly what you have said we should do. If her reasoning has shifted to knowing that she must first be happy with herself then her growth and maturity in that area while she went through her process is awesome.
If the tools you use are bringing souls into the kingdom, then I rejoice with you, for this is one of our ultimate purposes and goal.
Your philosophy, while I'm sure makes you feel good, like the MAN, is a carnal idea. Of course, we are called to be the heads and not the tail and be the vessels God uses to bring people into the marvelous light. The scriptures you were referencing are true. Wise as a serpent, harmless as a dove.
Your life and your fruit of the Spirit is what draws them. The anointing. Your, 'I'm the man' image that you suggest we all use will have them thinking about God's blessing power. Yes, He does bless, but what I'm saying, is that in my OPINION that is not the most important thing.
I don't have to be of the world, look worldly successful or be skinny in order to positively impact the world.
If what you say is true we need use God's life giving power to bring Mother Theresa back and tell her to try it again.

dear pluc,,,,
your words here
Sometimes what seems like an insult is just the brutal truth.
mine here
you are saying it as brutal truth.. my friend its only your opinion of truth.. ya see its your truth.. not everyones thruth.. ya see the difference..
even when we believe something to be truth.. our words can be mighty hurtful to others...
you use the verse wise as serpents.. and harmless as doves..
do ya really believe those hurtful words you use as brutal truth is bein harmless as a dove?
its my belief we shouldnt be goin around sayin insulting things about others appearances..
whether you believe its truth or whether you mean well with your intentions..
i like ya man, youre funny at times, you got an outgoin personality, and i admire you for goin out on the streets and witnessing and helpin others.. thats good of ya..
got a question though.. do you when out on the street witnessing to folks... do you go up to them and start to give them your opinion or your brutal truth about what you percieve their appearance to be ?
do you realize that right now here, you are possibly witnessing to thousands of people.. yes even on a christian site theres lots of folks that come and are lost.. just out of curiousity sometimes too.. to maybe see just whats so different about christians..
carry on, just please go easy with the insults..thanks

I haven't insulted one person yet. Just pointed out some interesting observations. It is not hard to figure out that if you look better you have a better chance of dating someone that looks better. The numbers tell you that. That does not mean that a person that is less attractive to some mans standard can not date a person that is very attractive, but they do have a better chance if they work on it. Most of the time we christians just think it is going to happen without in effort on our part.
When I go out to preach my heart is totally for the people I minister to. Most of the time I am like that. I only address issues like this when I see christians that are fooling themselves into believing they can have something great without any real effort on their part, without any development, discipline, ot hard work.
My disclaimer: If you love your weight I LOVE YOU AND YOUR BODY JUST THE WAY IT IS. If you do not love it (which happens to be the case for most over weight person or person that dresses sloppily) then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. You have the power within you do do so. Complaining about other people insulting you or looking down on you is not the answer. The answer is turning to you Lord asking for help and then puting work to your faith.

It's like warring in the spirit, I promise.
One more to see if this time will be the charm.
Pluc, Your idea of beauty is not everyone's idea of beauty. You can not say 'less attractive' this and 'more attractive that' as if we are all on one accord. You state your opinions as if there is a set standard of beauty and you are encouraging everyone to come up to it so they can get a 'attractive' mate in return for their efforts. YOU think that overweight people are not as attractive as people who are smaller. I'm sure others feel the way you do, but what you fail to realize is that there are others that don't.
Pluc, every one of the 6 billion people on the earth right now are in the position to get with someone, RIGHT NOW. It is not necessary for anybody to take your advice in order to achieve what they want. We don't need to wake up, we are not asleep.
Okay, don't know if any of this registers, but there you go. I tried.

Ms 1babygirl I have never said what is beautiful and what is not. I have set no standard. I have not showed you any pictures and said this is ugly and this is beautiful. I have not said what weight is to much and what is to little. I have not put up any standards. I have not set myself up as a judge you have. The Judge is the person who is making the decision.
As a photographer I truly believe the following. ALL OF YOU LISTEN TO THIS CAREFULLY. THIS IS WHAT I BELIEVE
1. Beauty starts on the inside and flows out.
2. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
3. Any one can change and become what they want to become
4. Attraction is a weird thing. What attracts one person may not attract another person. What one person thinks is beautiful may not be to the rest of the world, but that person will see nothing but beauty.
That happened to me. I was attracted to a woman that I knew as a photographer was not what the world would say was beautiful, but to me she was and still is georgous.
Got to go yall. Edw I hope you have something funny to say.

Well, I said I was going to stay outta this tonight. Got too much studying to do. But I will make one observation.
Just saw a commercial on tv . One of those unmentionable commercials that proclaim to ugh-hum, make men happy. You know which one I'm talking about( I ain't going to do no advertisin') Anyway, they show a man and a woman side by side out in the middle of the woods soaking in seperate bath tubs holding hands. You can't see how pretty the woman is, how big she is, in that silhoute. Apparently, what ever she looks like, the man thinks enough of her to move 2 big heavy clawfeet bath tubs out in the middle of the woods so they can have some soaking time together.

I couldnt have said it better myself.... ya know, I look at some of the pics and think... this is a Christian web site. lol.
sometimes I see things like- he has no shirt on at all, or there is a bed in the background, or the knob of a guiness draft handle from a bar or club in the background. I would like to see the real person of coarse, but sometimes we may portray ourselves in a not so good light. I'm no photographer, but I do try to portray myself as I truely am...

so you say you have more heart for those you minister to than for folks thatre already christians .. is that what youre sayin there? you wont talk to them that way but yet you will to others ... i find that very interisting. as in you know thats the wrong way to go...
i find that every christian man and woman out there is very deserving of something great.. they are all sons and daughters of the MOST HIGH.. of a KING of KINGS...JESUS thought so when HE died on that cross..
pluc you are deserving and everyone else is too.. no matter their exterior, or the way they dress ect...
im gonna leave you here.. but like i said please curb the insults to others.. and carry on..

ole cattle
are you like the forum police or something. I see you asking us to curve the insults when I have not insulted anyone. I am glad the forums are written so we can go back and read exactly what I have said. It seems to me you really take what I say out of context. Any way it has been really good kickin' with you guys. I love all of you.
