The first guy I chatted on here with for a while was a God ordained experience. We immediately found an unusual bond. I decided to surprise him and showed up at his church unannounced. I wanted to see if the man I really enjoyed was the same man in his own environment. He was the same and more. He managed to reconcile with his wife of his youth and I am thrilled because it brought healing to many. We are still good friends. Nobody at his church knows we ever met via a dating site, it is our little secret. God sometimes wakes me up in the middle of the night and has me pray for him and then I later learn (we're friends on facebook) what was going on in his life that needed prayer. It is and was a very special relationship, beautiful and unlike any other I've ever had. Another man I wrote to for a long time, he married someone he met on here. She lived far away from him. I am also friends with him on facebook. We write to each other on occasion. So we've remained friends. Not that all on here have been sucessful friendships, there was one man I met on here that I believe to be an alcoholic, and he admitted to being a habitual liar. Oh well it was bound to happen, right? I'd like to find another like the first one though, that would be sweet! Female friendships are so deep and personal and satisfying, we should remember to enjoy them. Post Reply
