Posted : 30 Jun, 2010 04:13 PM Dearest Ladies, My name is Shelby, I am of German/Dutch descent, a Certified Stephen Minister, and a Gourmet Cook, who loves to spend hours creating mouth watering meals, in addition to my current medical experience, acquired while caring for my Mother. I am by no means afraid of hard work, and might even say I am sometimes inspired by it. I am fairly new to this site, but honestly impressed with this site for it's great control in keeping "Spammer", off of this site. Not that I have not been contacted by a few, and done my job by reporting them, but the speed with which the site gets rid of them, once they are uncovered, just blows me away. Others sites I have been on could care less, because I have seen these "Spammer", around for a long time after they have been reported. Anyway, back to me, I am a very Christian Gentleman, with a very deep resolve toward my life as a Christian, who is seeking the same in a future mate. I am not seeking a weekend fling, and would prefer that any Lady who is seeking this type of relationship, be kind enough to pass me by. There is a great difference between Sex, and Love, and to have Love in your live, you must feel Love in your heart. It does not bother me that my future mate may live in another State, just as long as she is not in another Country. As you will see from my profile, I am the sole caretaker of my Mother, and have been doing this job in greater, and greater degrees as My Mother's condition has progressed over the past 10 Years. Alas the end is not far off from now, and I am fairly sure she will not see this Christmas, or New Year come to pass. After this event has come, and Our Heavenly Father has called my Mother home, I intend to finish my final chores here, and move to Denver, Colorado, (A Place I Once Lived, And Loved For 4 Years Of My Life). My only exception to this plan, lies in the hands of my Heavenly Father, and the plans he may have in store for me. I think I can say with great certainty, that he, and I are agreed on the topic of my future life having a Bride in it, who I can love, honor, and support in the way God intended me to. A Woman who will take her "Vows Of Marriage", as God intended them to be. A Woman who knows that a Vow, is a sacred promise between her, and her God, and is not to be broken for any reason. This is the type of Christian I am, and the type of Christian Lady I seek. If this is the type of Lady you are, then reach out your hand to me, and we shall forge our future in the sight of our Heavenly Father, and walking the path he would have us walk, until the day comes for us to return to the home he has made ready in his Heavenly Kingdom. Lastly, I guess if any Lady cares to know more about me, by all means, please feel free to drop me a note, and we shall see where the road ahead will take us. I realise that your a well meaning persons as I said earlier, truth be told. I would have appreciated an opportunity to be corrected, or to correct myself upon advice. Instead what I got was what I construed as condescension... I decided a while now to view this as a correction from God, one that I cannot control but must simply accept... Those responses got in my way alot because even though I knew you both meant well, I did not have any control over the situation. Didn't have any room for making my "wrong" "right". One cannot hear the heart, read the emotions, see the facial expression while emailing. Carib made a statement to which was perceived by others as rude. That was all based onthe perception of the readers. I heard no rudeness in her comment at all. It sounded to me like maybe either just a generic comment or maybe possibly a help to Shelby in writing. Either way, one needs to give one the benefit of the doubt. Shelby, in your profile, you said you wanted people with garbage. If no garbage, do not replay. You contradicted yourself. You perceived this lady as having garbage by her comment, and yet you rejected her and her comment, then a few of you talked behind her back in front of her rebuking her for your perception of Carib's comment. Then judgement comments came of "reading her mind" saying she was having a bad day, when she was not. So, either you want someone with garbage or you do not. And if her one comment made all of you that upset, than there appears to be garbage in the lives of all, and while you are pointing a finger at Carib, there are three more pointing back at each of you. I had trouble going to sleep last night due to the comments that were said on this page. If this is how you treat someone with "garbage" whether perceived accurately or not, then you are one scarey guy. I hear no love in your comments, only religious pride.
