HMS3381 View Profile History	Scare to try online friendships- Posted : 2 Aug, 2009 05:28 AM Like many of you I joined recently, just today discovered the chat forum, and frankly I'm intimidated because many of the fellows want younger , slender attractive women and they enumerated few qualities of the heart and character, its not fair because the majority of us are not like that! I'm not a beauty queen ,have a few extra lbs , some well earned wrinkles and:rolleyes: almost 55! I'm content with who I'm, Love God and Jesus , I'm loyal,loving giving , driven,smart and REAL ( it almost sound rhetoric) but is who I'm. so the question Brothers is what is where does this leave me and the many mature sisters like? who do not meet the Barbie's expectations? should I leave? :waving: Post Reply

The scammers that have attempted to contact me are deleted before they get through. I have had some scary experiences on other sites. The only thing I don't understand is I have pages and pages of lookers, but only a few contact me. Be braver guys. Take control, instead of the women making first contact. There are some men that look deeper. Unfortunately, they are few. God will bring someone into your life that will love you for you... Post Reply

Most of us long for a special companion, and so we post our pictures (well some of us!), and our profiles hoping to attract someone�s attention � that someone special�. And hopefully the well intentioned anticipated �love� relationship � long distance will ensue�. Now trusting that all the back and forth emails and telephone calls proves trustworthy (both people keeping it real and honest)� because frankly, isn�t it easy to project falsehoods behind the �screen��. ... we decide it�s time to meet�. Isn�t that how it goes? Whew � that�s a lot of wasted energy (and time) being online for the probability of meeting the right one. The odds are on par with winning the lottery. And while we are advertising .. uh� I mean �searching� on line for a special someone, most of us will encounter disappointment and discouragement. We are looking for love� .. that is obvious�. Yes it is not good for a man to be alone, etc etc� but Jesus is love. Period. If we are consumed with him and going about his business, taking up our cross and following him, we will be filled with his love�and will find love in all those we meet and minister to. We will be satisfied and complete in him. Isn�t that the ultimate? That�s not to say that the desire to have a companion is not there. God puts in us those desires and works in our lives to bring about his said purposes and plans �I have plans to prosper you and bring you much success� says the Lord. �I have someone in mind for you � I have only the best intentions for your life. Allow me to bring that to you in due season. In the mean while, set your heart on things that I have called you to do� gifted you�. and you will find satisfaction in your work. I will bless you, annoint you to do great things � to bring life and healing to others.� If we are on these Christian dating sites for friendship, to pray for one another, to maybe find love in all the right places, well and good. It has served its purpose. If one of us wins the lottery � tremendous!! Most of us won�t. So why waste the energy. It's for the most part fruitless.. trying to find a soul mate on line (if that's what one is looking for) I realize a lot are on line for fantasy purposes, and temporal thrills (because they are not going about their father's business).. and you have to sift through all that material??? How tiring.... To all you beautiful women who have been dismissed for not measuring up to Barbie doll expectations that most men seem to have, I bless you with these words: YOU ARE MADE IN THE EXPRESS IMAGE OF GOD, AND HE IS BEAUTIFUL BEYOND DESCRIPTION AND DESIGN. LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TO MOVE FORWARD IN YOUR DREAMS WITH FAITH, HOPE, AND INTENTION. HE WILL GIVE YOU THE STRENGTH TO DO ALL AND BE ALL, FULL AND COMPLETE, WANTING NOTHING. GO FOR GOLD!!
