GoodMorning View Profile History	How To Use This Site Posted : 27 Sep, 2013 06:20 AM Though I'm fairly new to this site, it appears that a lot of users complain that they send messages to a person and then never get a reply. I'd like to suggest that, to make it a more user-friendly site, the people who operate it could give an indication of how recently a person has visited it. For example, Let's say I find an interesting lady named, "Sharla," and want to send her a message. When I click on her profile, there would be something to tell me the last time she even visited this site. That way, if its been years since she even came to the site, I won't waste my time and energy writing her a message. I will go on to find someone who is actively using the site. Perhaps this is already possible, but I haven't yet discovered it. I appreciate any suggestions from anyone. I've tried to email 6 different people since finding the site, and only 2 of them have appeared to even read my messages. Thank you. Post Reply

It's true that we shouldn't make a snap judgement or even a marriage decision based on appearance alone or primarily. But it really is a fair requirement for someone to see you, even though few pics do justice. My reasoning is this: In the non-internet world of meeting, dating, courting and marriage, you almost ALWAYS meet someone face to face some time BEFORE you start a guy-girl relationship. By the time you do start something, you've already LONG known what they looked like. That is, the very first thing (generally) that you know about ANYONE you meet is, what they look like! Now in the internet world, if we're on a pinterest board or any board where the topic of mutual interest is nothing related to romance, we don't need photos. That's why many forums allow and even ENCOURAGE "avatars"; graphics that are anything but a photo of the person. And just like those boards, we can use "handles" here, to also obfuscate identity if we wish. But for something as serious as a potential romantic relationship, it's only fair to want to see the person FIRST thing before ANY communication. Didn't God make our appearances, too? So we can trust that there will be someone who likes us AND our appearance. Maybe in some cases, delaying appearance is justified. But I think it's rare. Post Reply

I too agree with you; it would be very helpful in a number of ways. But to CDFF I would say, ChristianMingle.com does it and has for years! I hope CM keeps that and that CDFF will add it! Post Reply
