I am black but I seek someone who is not or who is mixed. Maybe that does not sound Christian but I thank God for my difference in taste. Colour does not make the person but yes its my choice. But maybe God has another plan for me. Been on this site about 2 months and its hard, strange to meet people like this. Does it work really. In everything I still give thanks! Post Reply

Have you been hurt by one of our men or is it the blonde hair, white skin and blue eyes that attract you? There is no hostility in my question. I am always interested to know why people feel the way they do. I know black men who say they prefer white women as well. All of them when pressed to answer why, have said that it is that white women as a rule are more docile, not as loud, etc... There are the David Bowies(who has been married to Iman forever) and Robert De Niros (who always has a black woman on his arm) of the world, but your search has been difficult because statically, mixed couples (black & white) are made up of more black males with white females. Well, putting your preference on the forum was definitely a shrewd move. Your chances of finding a Chinese, Hispanic, or White male just went up! Hope you find what you are looking for. Post Reply

For real I do understand why a person would have a preference. For example me. I want a BLACK woman. I do not even look at the others. Because I want a BLACK woman. So there is nothing wrong with you having a preference baby. Do your thing and don't let 1babygirl get you all twisted. If you want a man with no flavor, swagger, you know go for it. I think you should give us another look, because although we black men have our problems we are really interesting. But on the real believe God for what you want and He will give it to you. Be specific and keep an open heart as he shows you what He has prepared for you. You will like it the best. Post Reply

I did not mean that only black men have flavor and swagger. I just meant they have more. NO NO just joking. Really every race and creed does have something awesome to offer. So please understand I am just joking. I grew up in an army town where we saw no color. I have learned a lot from all kinds of people. I go to a totally mixed church also. but life is not fun unless you have a little humor in it. So Akuilfa as I said before your man is in God's will for you. Well, it is true that races of people often share common beliefs and have similarities because of the shared struggles, etc..Everyone is an individual and very different. For instance, it is important to me that the man I end up with have a high degree of personal integrity. Even though I was raised to believe that I will be swept off my feet by someone tall, DARK, and handsome doesn't mean I'm closed to a man of integrity from another race. In my country mixture is so common. I am not straight African. French white, spanish, chinese, you name it. If I look at light eyes and find it enchanting the rest of the world should not be upset. I have not written off black men but trust me so far most that I have met all hitting for the fun in the sack. Whites and Indians too. There are few black men that have me like "Lord Help Me!" But it is so rare and very few have a certain decency in them or may be taken. It has gotten to the point that 9 out of 10 are hip hop and rap addicts who cannot speak properly to you. You have to wait for them to grow up. But it would be a lie and a bashing to state it is within the race itself. I dislike the fact we are the only race that does this and everytime a problem arise. Black men this, black women too loud or too dramatic. Black people never learn. Black man can't get a job.The rest of the world probably at how we fight amongst ourselves. As for me I would love to blend a race into my own. If God sends me a Black Man I would take him with arms WIDE OPEN. Post Reply
