Is there something wrong with clean secular movies?Posted : 22 Apr, 2010 11:31 PMI don't think there is anything wrong with watching secular movies, but I do think that we have to be careful about what we watch and allow into our minds. I also think it depends on the person. I am extremely conservative in my movie choices, and it annoys my friends and family alot. I look movies up on pluggedinonline.com and I skim through what it says about the negative content, sex content, alcohol/drug content, violence content, and langauge content. If each area has more than two sentences I won't watch the movie (although there are exceptions). Everybody is different in what they can and can't handle though. |

Is there something wrong with clean secular movies?Posted : 1 Jun, 2010 09:57 PMsometimes they do by bringing out positive character traits that can be discussed with your non christian friends. I watched Hannah Montanna's movie with a girl (ironically named Hannah) that led us into some great discussions about how she should act as a new Christian, like how she should be kind to everyone and be herself, not how she thinks everyone wants her to be. |
