Do all things work together for our Good?

Romans 8:28 You often hear it said God said all things work together for good for those that love God, and it seems as though the latter part of that scripture is always left off, The promise is not with out conditions, the verse finish's up with to them that are called according to his purpose. It became apparent to me over the years that so many Christians had no idea that this truth was based upon those,

That love God and are callled according to his purpose. In context man's responsibility is revealed in verses 26 and 27. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

All things work together for those that... LOVE GOD... and are called to his purpose and that being that we pray and intercede for the saints as the holy spirit gives us the utterance according to the will of God for the saints of God, this is when all things will work together for our good.

We need to be in intercession for the saints of God in this hour.

PJ,

I hear what you are saying and agree, however I don't like to look at that verse as "conditional". I like to look at it more like "what is, is". After all if a person doesn't love God, things still may work out for the good if God is calling them, all though outwardly at the time it may not appear to be good. Which brings me to another point; the older I get, the more I realize I cannot judge what is for the good in my life, let alone others, I just have to trust God.

Two that sounds like some that proclaim you can do do anything to be saved, yet those that believe know man has a responsibility to the word of God. Very simple whosoever is not saved if they do not confess Jesus as lord.

AS is Romans 8:28 things will not work out together for God, if we do not pray.

It is not the topic but do most even really believe the father answers prayer.

Why do we have to pray on the earth?

Why do we have to pray on the earth?

------------

1) It builds relationship with God, so that we know Him better

2) It builds our faith and trust in God as we interact with Him

3) It prepares and trains us for the next world

God is Faithful even when we are not.

Will we pray in heaven, don't believe so!!

Why do we pray on earth because we are on the earth, and we represent the body of Christ and Satan is the god of this world, and he is not on a leash.

"Will we pray in heaven, don't believe so!!"

--------

Prayer is communication with God. I think we will pray but it will be totally different, as different as writing a letter is from telepathy.

This portion is speaking of those that love God and our called according to his purpose.

So we know it only works out for those that are doers of this scripture.

First we are to love God, to love God the scripture says we will obey him, be a doer of his word.

Second one of our purposes as in this context is to pray as the holy spirit prompts us to pray for ours as we know not how to, the Holy Spirit gives utterance to the prayer according to the will of God for whoever you are praying for.

The reason we pray is simply this Satan is the God of this world, and man's pray on the earth invites the father into the earth to move.

Satan's deception to the church is that he is on a leash and needs God's permission to do what he does.

You can rest assured he knows that lie is not the truth.
