On our way to a job, we got stuck in a long line on the interstate. In order to lighten the mood,(I had 2 passengers), I pulled out a bottle of bubbles my nephew had left in the truck, and started blowing away! The line didn't move any faster, but we were having fun. Changing our focus lightened the mood.Paul encouraged the Corinthians to look at the things not seen. The things we see are temporal. Unseen are eternal. God is a good place to focus. He's good, He's just, forgiving, and faithful. Pondering God's character is an excellent place to start. It'll lighten your mood in a jiffy! (bubbles will too)!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. _____________________________ Philippians 4:8 _____________________________ What do you think on?

Amen Chevy!

The problem with bubbles is they don't last so you have to keep doing it, and the problem with mastering your mood by thinking about the greatness of God is the same.......you have to keep doing it.

Btw, I have some serious doubts as to authenticity oif this post. "the bottle of bubbles my nephew left in my truck"....?? You don't have to put it on your nephew, If you carry around bubbles in your truck that's fine by me, I wont think any less of you, in fact you'd be my hero!

I'll admit I had a bottle of bubbles that were given to me at work one day. I suppose I could've given them to my granddaughter, but I'm a firm believer that "a merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance", and that laughter is sometimes the best medicine and many times brings healing more quickly.. unless you've just had abdominal or thoracic surgery. But you can have a lot of fun with bubbles.

You're absolutely right! Well, you and The Good Book. :)

When I take pictures of God's beauty, that's what I'm doing...enjoying the little things. It relieves stress and is edifying to Him. I know He's working through me because when others look at the photos, they see the 'little things' too. :)

Thank God for BUBBLES!! :)
