Are You Allowed to Interpret the Bible for Yourself?

Are you allowed to interpret the Bible for yourself with the Holy Spirit guiding you into all truth?

Or....

Do you have to rely on a religious organization or a doctrine to interpret the Bible for you and give you the truth?

What does the Bible teach about this?

Yes, Biblicaly there are teachers, pastors and evangelists, however the Bible also says there are false teachers. So 'Who' has the authority to tell you what to believe?

The biggest question in this post is:

Who is Ultimately Responsible for What You Believe?

Looking forward to your awesome answers!

"Are you allowed to interpret the Bible for yourself with the Holy Spirit guiding you into all truth?"

Yes.

The Holy Spirit can't lead you astray. He can break things down differently and specifically to each person, but it still lines up at the end of the day. He will never go against the Word of God.

I do feel like people's worldly education and knowledge can get in the way, creating a lot of misinterpretation. Some people are "too smart for their own good." They try to intellectually make sense of the Word in its entirety. That's wrong. "Knowledge puffeth up, but love edifieth." That's why the Bible says in 1 Corin 1:27....

"But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong."

At the end of the day, I really do think the disconnect comes when everybody starts to say what they think, believing they have the answer for everything, which is a pride issue (SEE: PHARISEES). When really, if you yield yourself to the Holy Spirit, He will always lead you into truth. But you have to yield!

Every thought, Any and all Words that exalt themself against this knowledge of God in his word we are to resist, reject, not accept in out lives.

The perfect will of God is that mankind know his voice, and that holy spirit show us all things and teaches us all things, we are to know the word of God and walk in it's truths.

Give no heed to those that would try to seduce you, concerning this simple truth

He says you can not follow God's voice, who is it that would spread that lie.

Jn 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

J 10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

10:5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

Jn 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

1st Jn 2:26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.

2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

Jo 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

Seek and ye shall find not go to someone else and you will find. Let the Holy Spirit interpret it for you not some rhetoric spewing seminary grad. You're better off finding your answers in the Bible rather than on TV, in church or filling in the blanks of your Bible Study booklet.
