Our text for this teaching is:

1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Romans 10 Verses 8 thru 17

The parable of the sowers teaches us all that is written in the apostles doctrine as to how one is saved.

First the word of faith is preached unto him as how to be saved:

Verse 9 says that if thou shalt confess with mouth the lord Jesus and believe with the heart unto righteousness unto righteousness.

So just as the parable teaches as man hears the word of God that he believes Jesus is the Christ, is lord, that seed of the word of God in his heart will produce faith and as he proclaims Jesus as lord, the holy spirit will then give him a new heart, a new spirit within him.

In verses 13 of Romans it say's he that calleth on the name of the lord shall be saved.

The definition of the word save in the literal Greek translation of the scriptures means to deliver, protect, heal, preserve or to make whole. The definition of the word believe from the literal Greek translation of the scriptures means to have faith; to entrust, commit or to trust in. The account in Acts says that Paul and Silas spoke the word of God to the jailer and members of his household, so there was teaching that was involved in becoming a believer and in being saved.

Man is delivered from the dominion of darkness into the kingdom of his dear son.

Here are two bible examples of this teaching:

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,

and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Acts 16:27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.

acts 16:28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.

Acts 16:29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,

Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

acts 16:32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

acts 16:33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

The bible doctrine how to be saved is established with these scriptures.
