In the Name of JesusPosted : 10 Apr, 2011 12:57 PMThe name is given to those that believe, as one of the keys to the kingdom. But we must exercise faith in that name. |

In the Name of JesusPosted : 10 Apr, 2011 07:42 PMIt means by the authority, like "in the name of the law". It can also mean "into" such as in the use of the phrase regarding baptism. "Baptizing them into the name of. . ." In this case it is a reference to the nature and character of Jesus or God. That is to say ot disciple others into this nature and character. |

In the Name of JesusPosted : 10 Apr, 2011 09:30 PMIt also reminds me of that verse... "Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are you?" Acts 19:15 |

In the Name of JesusPosted : 10 Apr, 2011 10:37 PMIn the name of Jesus, to me means that through that name I have power over ALL the power of the enemy. I agree with what saved and river both said. "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name given under heaven among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12 ~ In the Name of Jesus devils flee, people are healed, sinners are born again. JESUS---- THERE'S JUST SOMETHING ABOUT THAT NAME!!!!!!!!!! |
