ARMINIAN GRACE

(sung to the tune of "Amazing Grace")

Arminian "grace!" How strange the sound, salvation hinged on me.

I once was lost then turned around,

was blind then chose to see.

What "grace" is it that calls for choice,

Made from some good within?

That part that wills to heed God's voice,

proved stronger than my sin.

Through many ardent gospel pleas,

I sat with heart of stone.

But then some hidden good in me,

propelled me toward my home.

When we've been there ten thousand years,

because of what we've done,

We've no less days to sing our praise,

than when we first begun.

Sola Fide,

Sola Scriptura,

James

Thanks for the post James, as this post especially shows the truth. For one normally needs to provide evidence for consideration to prove their point is correct, unless of course your point is telling a person what they believe, then your own point testifies against you as evidence of the incorrectness of your position, for a person usually knows what they believe.

What a shame that you find it necessary James to mock the grace of those who don't agree with your belief when it's the same grace of God that saves us all. It's a shame as well that you continue to falsely accuse those who don't agree with your belief by coming up with some fabricated nonsense that we save ourselves and even spend the time to turn it into what you consider a song. There are non-believers in my life that show more respect than you.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. - Matthew 12:35-37

Father we ask you to forgive the author of this post for mocking those that agree with your word and deny the lie of reformatting you, according to the plan of Satan, and we pray that you deliver all from the snare of reformation theology, as they so deny the lord and his redemption.

James has said before that NO ONE can really KNOW another person's heart, but doesnt Jesus say in Matthew 12:34 that "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh". After reading this post, we can really see where his heart. Putting people down who don tbelieve in the same things that he does. Believing that you have to ACCEPT/CHOOSE Jesus Christ as your Savior, does NOT mean that you believe that you can save yourself. It DOES mean, tho, that you believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and that NO MAN cometh unto the Father, but by Him (Jesus)...John 14:6. How can you COME to the Father, unless you CHOOSE to come to the Father?
