What does this verse mean to you?

Isaiah 55:8

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.

Please allow me to answer with a parable from Jesus:

Luke 12:16

".... The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. He thought to himself, 'What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops' Then he said 'this is what I do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and goods. And I'lll say to myself you have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat drink and be merry." But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you....."

Isa 55:8 is an explanation of why God will abundantly pardon.

Well Two it seems to be that some say logic is equivalent to the wisdom of God, thus making the wisdom of God natural, instead of supernatural wisdom.

Logic say's

All does not mean all

World does not mean world

Whosoever is not whosoever

Finally logic said he, fallen man can not believe.

In otherwords man's logic, far surpasses the truth, the word of God!!

That sounds like SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS!!

PJ - Well Two it seems to be that some say logic is equivalent to the wisdom of God

Ryan - You are being dishonest. I haven't seen anyone say this. It has been said they logic is compatible with God's wisdom(God's wisdom is logical). You are free to disagree. I'm not sure why you would, but at least admit that nobody has said what you just posted.

PJ - Whosoever is not whosoever

Ryan - Whosoever is not even found in scripture. You are speaking of an english translation.

PJ - Finally logic said he, fallen man can not believe.

Ryan - The bible said this. How can dead men give life to themselves?

Ryan why ask me, my answer is in the word of God, I can read and I hear, two of the requirements to believe.

You should direct your questions to the lord, the word, it is his word

No it's a simple question. How can a dead man, give life to himself? Why must I ask if the Lord if He has already said in scripture?

63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

65And he said, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father."

John 6:63, 65

I posted two verses and you say I'm dead for what I'm pushing. I asked how dead men give life to themselves. You said I must go to God for the answer. I went to God's word.

Ryan asked: How can dead men give life to themselves?

--------------

Ryan, you really need to shed the cult like thinking and think for yourself instead of parroting reformation jargon. The problem is Calvinists interpret the word "dead" either figuratively or literally as their doctrine demands. In the Eph verse the word dead is figurative for the condemnation of man, like a man on death row...like a ...'dead man walking'.

Was Lazarus dead when Jesus called to him? So a dead man can hear the word of God.....right? Or did Lazarus come to life before Jesus called so he could hear him? ...I think it is about time you answer one of my questions.
