How Will The World End?

Perhaps, I'm in a quirky mood at the moment, and I honestly

am not trying to depress anyone here...lol!, but let's get

real, this world is not in the greatest of shape. The environment in which we live has diminished greatly over the past 20 years. Some of the changes are sublte, and many just scream in your face.

Do you think this world will sustain itself until Jesus Christ returns for the finale?

Or rather just how unhealthy and unbearable will Mother Earth be to live in over the next 20-50+ years?

I always thought before I became a Chrisitian that this

the world would somehow phase itself out due to overpopulation and running out of natural resources. That's

very realistic. Some of our natural supplies will not be able

to regenerate.

Does anyone have any genuine opinions?

Who has a collection of scientific stats for us to ponder

regarding the health of this world?

Personally, I get sad and tired to see so many trees being

cut down to make room for new communities. That has happened so much over the past 10 years here in Myrtle Beach. We need these beautiful trees in oder to breathe. They help to sustain the human life force...you know what I mean?!

Can we actually recycle trash fast enough to deal with the

abundance of garbage yielded every day?

What if there will be no more room in this country to house all

the children being born each day who will one day grow

into adults and have children of their own..I wonder.

Biblically speaking, I believe in the rapture and if that happens before I die, I respect and accept my eternal fate.

How do you feel about the events that will occur as explained in the book of Revelation?

Does anyone disagree?

Does anyone fear what will be?

Who is excited?

As always, Be Well and thank you for your time!

Will

Well, the most accepted belief is the world will be destroyed be fire, but first many things must happen. They are being set up by our American Scientific community as we speak.

If you watch the Science channel and have a Bible, you can see that this is all part of God's plan. We are so conceited as a nation that our environmentalists think they can repair thousands of years of damage overnight, despite warnings from the international community.

One plan is to shoot millions of tons of a sulfur-based chemical into the upper atmosphere. Ever heard of the term Wormwood? Another pumps nutrient rich sea water to the surface to produce huge phytoplankton blooms. Ever heard of a red tide? Sound like a third of the oceans turning to blood? These are just two of the most obvious, and there are many more.

The truth is that we don't even understand the environment, but we think we can "fix" it. It is a wonderfully complex part of the Eco-system. You can't tamper with one part without effecting all.

These are all things that will happen during the tribulation period and they are already running small scale tests. Does that sound like something that will happen 40 or 50 years in the future?

If you have ever really studied Prophesy, then you know that the signs are all around us and the pace of their appearance has been startling.

As Christians we are taught to rejoice that the time is drawing near, but I am really saddened that so many people will have to suffer through these things. Amos tells us that it is not a good idea to desire the day of the Lord, but we are taught the opposite. I don't think you can have the compassion of God and still want to see this. How can they rejoice at the worst suffering the world has ever known? Because they are saved? Will they listen to themselves? Does that sound like a Christian teaching?

Sorry, getting off my soapbox now,

Leon

great blog and questions first off.

I wonder if there will be a rapture?

Of course documentation shows that the bible states a catching away however the term rapture did not appear

untillate 1600's early 1700's.

I believe we could drop a ten ton nuke into the core of the earth right no and if CHRIST were not to

return for another 50 years the earth would STILL hold together because ultimately he is in control

and sovereign over everything that happens otherwise he would be a maverick GOD able to control some things

but powerless to control others.

I have also heard a recently new christian theology going around that revelation is a metaphore lol

Revelation in my mind is yet to come and GOD's final attempt to turn man from their wickedness

before he reutrns on the clouds in great power n glory!!!!!
