"The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. Exodus 14:14
In the above verse, the Jews were fleeing the Egyptians and they were at the Red Sea, not knowing what they were going to do. Moses reminded his people that God is still in control.
"The LORD your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes," Deu 1:30
Another verse in which the Jews were reminded that God will protect them.
How God fights our battles is up to Him. Sometimes He uses us or others, sometimes He uses circumstances. But God does fight our battles.
Good scriptures saved and catty. God does fight our battles and always wins, Like catty said He may use different means to fight satan ( even us). Fight the good fight of faith! For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12 In our Christian walk we must all wrestle with the enemy from time to time. And through Jesus the victory is always ours.
In the spirit of Christian brotherhood and discussion I'll answer your questions.
Where is the lord toady on the earth??
Answer: Besides the obvious (permeating His entire creation) The Lord specifically dwells in believers. However, He does not dwell as a parasite, or a partner, but as a Master.
What is the good fight of faith??
I think the fight is to keep believing and to stay in relationship with God even while every circumstance and all the world, and even our own mind call it foolishness.
What is the balance on this topic??
That is pretty much my question. I believe the battle belongs to the Lord, yet we are called to participate, but to only participate by following His instructions, as the balance point is different in every situation. And this is when things become tricky, especially if one doesn't hear so well or does not have their flesh under control.
Anyway those are just my honest answers ....make of them what you will.
NO, We are to "Submit to God, Resist the devil, and then he will flee from you" James 4:7
Undrgrace we are to do nothing. we are to be slaves of righteousness, and the Will of the father.
We are to be like Jesus. Jesus said My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work." John 4:34
His Food was the fathers will. Thusly becoming the complete WIll of the father. Jesus was the complete word, the complete will, the complete Glory, love, humility, wisdom, power...and yet he remained completely dead to himself. and did EVERY word the Father commanded him to. He WAS the Will of God. He did nothing of himself.
Now Jesus is Our Food. Our food is righteousnes. Jesus is our everything.
The armour of God is Jesus, the sword of the spirit is Jesus. The Spirit is Jesus. Everything we have is Jesus, if we are IN Jesus.
Submission is key in order to keep evil from you, adn your flesh dead.
We need to be weak. Only when we are weak, defenseless Children, are we strong. becasue its not our strength its HIS...we are nothing...and we need to remmeber that...
We need to eat, drink, walk, sleep, talk, breath, cough, ready our selves, arm ourselves, in...Jesus. He needs to be our entire consumation daily. Die to us, so HE may live out of us. Die in his death, to completly be raised in his Ressuection.
We cant fight. We cant win. Not in flesh. We can only win when we lose. We can only live when we die. We can only be Sons, when we are the SON(Jesus) And the only way to be The Annointing, the Christ, is to have his spirit BE you. in all we do. WE must decrease so JEsus can increase.
THAT is why the christian life is a struggle...becasue our flesh is constanlty tring to be the saviour. Our Flesh seems to be Anti-Spirit...Anti Christ if you will...
...nothing of ourselves. We fight by dieing...
...So thats my two cents...
(funny enough ...We even try to die...which is impossible...we need to stop TRYING to die...and just die...trying is still flesh...we need ot just do...just die. And stay dead. ...Very tough...especially in this Self obssesd, and pride-FILLED western Culture...im no where near that...I pray i am soon)
