Rom 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
We no the bible teaches that man is saved by faith and actually all he receives of the lord will be the law of faith.
What is a law as said in Romans 3 verse 27, spiritual laws operate just like natural laws, as in the law of gravity, whatever is dropped will fall to the earth.
The law of faith is always preceded by the law of sowing and reaping and it is so vital to know and understand these laws operate, for and against you depending on the words you are hearing.
The law of sowing and reaping works with whatever a man soweth, but in this case we are talking about words.
The word of God is preached, first man must hear with the intent to agree with the word of God, and then believe what he hears, as an act of his will and out of a pure heart respond to the word heard and believed, this response is what the bible calls faith as in Romans 10:17
The faith spoken of in Romans 12:3 is a general faith given to all man upon the earth, a general faith that was given to man to hear and believe the word of God relative to the topic proclaimed.
Faith as in Romans 10:17 is not a gift, it is a by product of exercising the law of sowing and reaping per the word of God, or the word of man, it operates even if the words heard are not of the word of God.
When the lord established these laws of course it was for good and not evil, satan knew this and thus he went after Eve and tempted her with his words and she believed them and then acted upon what he said. Eve's action is the first perversion of the law of sowing and reaping, and the law of faith.
Jesus explains the law of sowing and reaping in the parable of the sower. Mt 13:3, Mk 4:4, and Lk. 8:5.
Facts concerning all scripture:
The word of God is god they are one.
The word of God always came from God to man.
The word of God heard and believe giveth light.
The word of God, any and all scripture is full of faith!!!
An example of what we are saying according to the word of God:
Jn 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
The word of God also teaches us that we are to establish any truth in the mouth of two or three witnesses. so we will give another witness. Mt 18:16, 2nd Cor. 13:1
Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Rom 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Rom 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
These two scriptures illuminate the heart of man to the will of God
concerning:
These scriptures tell us how one is to hear the word of God!!
These scriptures tell the hearer who can be saved!!
Theses scriptures tell the hear how one is saved!!
In hearing and believing the hearing know has faith to be saved, all that is left is man's response to the scripture which is faith.
Calling upon the name of the lord is his faith proclaiming and then the birth is the result.
A new testament example of this:
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
They heard the word, they believed, then they acted upon what they heard and then they where added to the church.
New creation realities by the living Word of God, bringing forth the life of God unto whosever hears and believes the word of God on any topic!!
Justification by faith alone is the very center of the Christian faith!
In Romans 3:27 Paul points out that because we are saved by faith alone, that Boasting in anyway is excluded.
In Eph. 2:8,9 it says that even faith itself is a gift from God, so that no one can boast.
The Pharisees were known for their great law keeping, or as we would say, good works.
I think we Christians have to fight against the idea of faith plus works whenever it pops up.
If a person says that faith in Jesus is not enough, what they are really saying is that Jesus is not enough, and we have to reject that loud and clear, to anyone who would say that to us.
