Abide in Jesus, and let him teach you.

" But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.... the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, abide in Him. " 1 John 2:20,27

If you have received the Holy Spirit, then you have the life giving, truth leading spirit of Your master Jesus Christ.

ALL who have received the Holy spirit, have that SAME annointing. IF you are abiding IN the spirit. IF you are resting in Jesus, our Sabbath. Then you HAVE the mind of Christ, and are being led to the same knowledge that Jesus has.

So WHY is there this odd obsession with Following Mans Teaching, going on in the "Church"?

If EVERY man is a Liar and God is truth,(Romans 3:4)

If you need to stop regarding Man, and Trusting MAN for knowledge,(Isaiah 2:22)

WHY does MOST of the Organized "Church" Say that you must be under the "guidence" of a man?

EVERYONE has the same annointing.

Yes, God DOES make SOME teachers...the greek didaskalos, truly meaning instructor, but the teaching is for preparation!

Instruction on WHAT to do for God. Considering the Bible is now in this easier to read, and hold format, and EVERYONE has one(which may be a good thing...may be a bad thing...)

We can ALLREADY READ what we need to "Do for God" and thats deny ourselves, and make fellow disciples.

Other than that, we Should be getting ALL of our knowledge and information and WORD, from the Most High God.

If ALL christians truly did that, if ALL Christians truly went to God for knowledge and not man it would be allot easier to spot the true folowers of Christ.

Not that im saying you cant read what others have said, or even listen to someones preaching...Just dont EVER take anythign a man says as FACT.

ESPECIALLY if you automaticaly agree with it.

Take EVERY Though captive, truly means every thought, YOURS and those of others which them become Yours. It pertains to sinfull thoughts, but also to thoughts in genral.

Abide!

John 15:7 says "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."

Jesus dosent mince words. He purposely said IF, meaning it is possible to NOT abide. We need to conciously abide in Jesus, therefore we are being taught by Him. And the ONLY way to ABIDE, and stay resting in Jesus(who IS the sabbath btw...but ill save that) is to deny self, it doesnt mean dont go to work...no...you dont work you dont eat. Deny self means that you dont Automaticly Just DO things, that you are constantly going to The Master, Going to the Father, like a child. A Child is ALWAYS asking the parent.

So Ask, Abide, be taught BY GOD. That is one of the many purposes of His son. He bridged the gap that beforehand only the Law was able to do, But Christ Fullfilled the Law, so now the ONLY way to properly keep the LAW, is Abiding in the spirit of The Word, Jesus Christ.

And DONT let Man tell you otherwise. You do NOT need that a man should teach you, ever again. Go to God for Everything.

Jesus is your teacher, your saviour, your salvation, your life, your wisdom, your knowledge, your stronghold. Your ONLY source for Everything, but he will not force himself on you. You must go to him, and do it constatnly. Always in everything.

A man should lead to GOD. A good sheepherd leads to the Chief Sheepherd and that is JESUS. If anyone tells you that THEY have the truth about a certain something, walk away, smile, be nice to them...but walk away. Even if they DO, JESUS IS the Truth so thank them kindly, and go to Christ.

Acknowledge him in ALL your ways(not some) and HE will direct your path. Jesus bless you

RK rhetorically asked:

WHY does MOST of the Organized "Church" Say that you must be under the "guidence" of a man?

--------------------------------

Basically it is so much easier. A person wouldn't think resting would be work. However it is work for the old nature of man which is intent on figuring every thing out so that he can "manage" it. With a "system" there are goals to meet, things to learn one can easily judge there own status and performance. In a sense it is a subtle hybrid of the law and grace. This type of doctrine puts man in control while saying God is in control.

Relationship can be hard work when you don't trust, one is afraid to rest, and the only rewards are Not ones you achieve, they are ones given in relationship. This is foreign to the old nature of man.

*To answer the question : People follow the guidance of men because they are trying to live a new life with a old nature. It is the new nature that follows the Spirit.

RKF, I understand what you are tryign to say, but let us not get lost in prsonal opinions, and void out hat God says in His word.

You asked the question something about, why do organized churches think or feel that it shoudl eb under the guidence of a man?

Well, in al fairness, had it not been the man Jesus, there would not be a church to follow. Right?...

The bIble teaches us that GOD, not the church, but GOD gave, called, anointed some in the church as apostles, some church He gave some prophets, and He gave some churches pastors, and He gave some teachers in the church.

And why did He do this?...for what reason and purpose, remember God does nothign without PURPOSE. Therefore with purpose in mind, God anointed soem as aostles, some as prophets/prophetess, some as pastors, some and evangelists, some as teachers in the church to do carry out His purpose and work, for the equiping(training, preparation) of the saints (believers) for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, until WE ALL come to the UNITY OF THE FAITH (one accord), and come into the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man (person), of the measure (likeness, quality equal to) the statue (image) of the fullness of Christ. So that we would no longer be children tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men in the cunning craftiness by which they lie in wait to deceive, but speaking the truth in love we may grow UP (mature) in all yings to God who is the head even in Christ, Ephesians chapter 4

Ths is why God has appointed men and women of God whom He has chosen and called into ministry. God is the greatest business man to ever live, and He knows that a business cannot be effective without a leader and without workers (followers).

The problem is that many believers are not doing as the people did in the Book of Acts, the people in Acts searched and studied the scriptures to see if what the apostles spoke to them was indeed of God and lined up with the scriptures. Many believers don't ever read their Bibles, not to speak of studying... or even these post for that matter before they respond, that's why there is so much confusion and misunderstanding, and disputes on the forum... People skim read through these posts just as they do the Bible, skim reading and miss the point of what a person is saying LOL...

When time is spent diligently reading and studying your Bible, you will know if what a person is speaing is the truth of God through the Holy Spirit confirming it is of God in your spirit. The Bible says that when Peter and the others preached, the people's heart were pricked with the truth, and repented of their sins, and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Every church needs a devoted spiritual leader in the word that's why God also gives out requirements and qualifications for those who desire such positions and/or accept the call as spiritual leaders.

Every man or woman of God who is called into ministry is not always called to be a pastor,or an evangelist, or teacher or a prophet, some are called to be in minstry of helps /works or administration, but many like the outward appearence of being out front. But the Bible has placed in order the list according to importance of the call in ministry.

Yes, We are to live in Christ and allow His Holy Spirit do His work in us, but we are also called and exhorted to study the word for ourselves to know the difference when others are presenting the word.

Et you are right, and I agree with you. :) however three things.

The word "Church" is Ekklisia which means Called out Congragation. ANYONE and everyone in Jesus, is part of his congragation, but NOT everyone that goes to a building with pews, and a and a big cross on it, belongs to that called out body.

and

The Lord does make some apostels, some prophets...etc...HE annoints them...Humans do not annoint each other, there is to much "I work for God" going on in the body of Christ and not enough listening to his voice and being guided into what he is TRULY calling us to do.

and

How do we recieve the mind of Christ so that we CAN be one with Jesus as he is One with the Father? ONLY in the Holyspirit, and if you are ONLY being taught by man, and you DONT go to God for teaching, then you are dissobeying the Lord, and therefore its a sin...so you are obliviously living in a Sin that is technically the teachers fault...but stil lrests on your shoulders, becasue HE is not your LORD, Jesus, is, so its your sin, but HE caused you to stumble.

But aside form those three things you are VERY right :) thank you.

God has put allot on my heart as of late...so i've been running around the internet sharing them...they will reach ultimately who they are for, in the meen time, I hope i havent offended anyone by the thigns i have posted. :)

And twosparrows:

Spot on Brother.

Not that its easy...This flesh creeps up in so many weird ways, and pride ends up rearing its ugly little head, in places that we thought Jesus and Us allready overcame...

Thats why its SOO important to abide. Seriously. If anyone doesnt truly know what abiding in Jesus is, or if they are doing it...ASK. Thats the only way. I do not do it everyday, noe do i do it perfectly on days i do...but its SOOO important that we keep going, keep dying, keep denying. everyday.

Jesus bless you.

RKJ, stay in God's word, but also allow yourself to be taught by those who are the called. And if you should search out spiritual leaders who are the anointed and called of God, compare what you receive from the Holy Spirit to confirm.

God gave us leaders who teach the word and do live in the word, yes, everyone who studies God will anoitn with His word, but every one is under the same calling to preach or teach, but everyone is required to be under a mentor, This is Biblical and foudn in God's word, this for checks and balances. The disciples and apostles tudied under Jesus, Jesus studied under His father, and Paul studied under soem great etachers, adn Timothy adn Titus studied under Paul. There must be be an overseerer God set it up this way, for your training as in even the work you do, you have a supervisor, becasue God is the one who set up organizational systems.

The Bible teach us that you study for yourself, and all you don't understand He will guide and lead you into this understadning, but we are also taught that in orderto increase our faith and to empower us, we need to gather together with ther believers in one accord, and this does not mean a few of you getting to gether talking about the Bible, this means an assemble in a building set aside for the prime purpose to worship and praise God in fellowship with one another, listening to the word of God being preached by a pastor or teacher called into ministry.God never called any Long Rangers...

So if you are not a member of a local church, and if you do not have a spiritual mentor, you should seek God to lead you in finding these things that are important for your spiriual growth, and He will direct your path. You cannot grow spiritually with being watered.

I encoruage you and bless you in the name of the Lord, and pray that God will bring to you that church home and family, and leadership He so desires for you to grow.

Stay in the exhortations Paul gave to Timothy and Titus as they were young men coming into the leadership of the gospel and faith. Follwo his directives he gave to them, and the Holy Spirit will do the rest.

And know that its a lying spirit that tells you that you don't have to be apart of a local church family or that you don't need a teacher who will mentor you in the word... that's not even in the Bible nor according to God's plans or anywhere in His word... you need BOTH, to be connected to a local church family and have a spiritual mentor in the things of God.

there is NO conformation if you arent submiiting and resting.

you will not be conformed to christ, you will not have the mind of Christ, just becaue you say so.

The only way for that to happen is rest in him, and abide in his spirit. as MUCH as possible.
