Admin	Have you Been FILLED? Posted : 3 Mar, 2011 02:46 PM Something that is hardly preached about. Most people beleive and preach that Everything that comes from God is automatic. That AS soon as you accept JEsus, you need to get baptised, and then as soon as you are baptised you recieve the baptism of the holy spirit(or at least thats the most common preaching on the subject) But Thats NOT the way the scriptures actually tell you. The disciples of Jesus were baptised first. Then They recieved the holy spirit(John 20:22) THEN they were Baptised(filled) in the holy Spirit at pentacost. While praying(Acts 2) Two different times, to different occurances. Jesus ALSO says, "If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!� YOu dont have becasue you dont ask. The Holy spirit is Not automatic, but is necissary. Ask The Lord for his Infilling. Ask to be filled, ask the Lord for everything. He wants to give, but we MUST go to HIM, for EVERYTHING as long as it is in accordance to his will. We need to rest in, abide in, and ask for more of Jesus. Always.
