I like the "walk" part. So many say they believe but don't walk their talk.

"I have no greater joy, than to hear that my children walk in Truth."

"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one may come to the father except through me." --Jesus

This statement is two-fold: first it implies that the children of God follow the only truth that he accepts. That is truth based on access to the Trinity through the blood of Christ and the knowledge that GOD has GIVEN to man in scripture (the foundation of hebrew knowledge).

Secondly, it implies a state of action. To speak the truth is a very simple thing to do by itself. The best liars tell the truth 90% of the time. So the only way that His children can truly honor Him is by living (walking) in the truth. Their actions reveal the truth that they have accepted in their heart by their conviction and determination to act. as the old mantage goes: "Actions speak louder than words." implying the state of the heart.

As we walk in truth, we will be growing in truth as we are supposed to, and we will continue walking in the truth, we will not fall for a lie.

Walking in the truth, walking in the light, is just another way of saying to be a doer of the word, and we know the word says if you are not a doer of the word, you will deceive yourself or delude yourself.

Walking in the Truth, is walking in the spirit. Walking in the spirit is walking In Jesus, who is the spirit of Truth.

The only way to walk in the spirit is to completely surrender TO the spirit. Deny self. Die to self, its the theme of the New testement. Well actually the theme of the NT is two fold, Love, and death. Both of which is Obedience, which is the theme of the entire scriptures.

You can not completely obey, nor can you completely Love, with out Walking in the spirit.

Jesus bless you :)
