The Rewards of Blessings and The Woes of Curses...Posted : 2 Mar, 2011 09:04 AMlol... Hilltop, no, you're not silly, many people confuse the old covenant with what Jesus did on the cross as the new covenat. Jesus fulfill the laws of WORKS Rituals and Ceremonies in the Old Testement, not the MORAL laws and the Precept, and Concepts of God, when it comes to obedience, these are not included, they still stand. |

The Rewards of Blessings and The Woes of Curses...Posted : 2 Mar, 2011 11:25 AMThe Old Testament was physical. The Israelites reaped physical blesssings and cursings. In the New Covenant the reward is eternal life and the curse is eternal death. There is much more at stake in the New Covenant. True though, most of what was sin in the Old Testament is still sin today, like you say except rituals. A lie today is the same as a lie in Abrahams time. |
