:rocknroll:Did God create men knowing full well in advance that some of them would burn in hell?

No He did not.

The punishment for unrepentance is eteranl death or nonexistance. Man is mortal. The mortal must put on immortality through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance towards the Father.

Fact:God created man!

Fact:God is all knowing

Fact:Logic now demands that God created man knowing that a good percentage of them will burn in hell

If you use Arminian logic it would have been better for God to create none of us,it would only be logical....and "Fair" that, for the sake of the majority, who are condemned to hell, god should not create at all, unless,God,wanting to display his great love,mercy,wrath....wich the bible says he does.

The cheif end of man is,most certainly to glorify God

These truths can be tough at first, but with much ,study and prayer,it is ultimately the only truth we got

If a potter creates a pot,he can shape it how he wants, and use it for what he wants....or throw it away and start over!

We have been all through this Steve, faith is not mental, it is from the word of God to the heart of man we are fully aware there is no scripture to support calvinism.

Sure, if God is OMNISCIENT, hE WOULD KNOW ... The Bible tells us that God KNOWS those who are going to be saved and be His children, BUT He does not make this choice of choosing them, He allows each child to make the choice as to whetehr or not they would like to retunr back home to Him.

Steve's question is reasonable.

You question how a loving God can predestine. By the same token, how can a loving God create people he knew would not choose Him?

You can approach the father by logic Margo, he is the author and our example of bible faith.

So to answer your question his creation is created for life and he expects them to choose life, but it is always a choice.

Jos 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Re 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels

Since we believe questions are Good, why do those that hold to reformed theology quote verses like Romans 3:10-12 to support their doctrine?

Well, since questions are good, why don't you start a new thread with that and help me with the others I have?

So you are saying that something has happened that God expected to happen but didnt happen? (ie. People are in hell right now). Wouldnt that make Him less than omnipotent?

And if that is not the case, (and He already knows they wont choose Him), why would He create them knowing they will go to hell?

Thanks Margo for making my point for me,Arminians are so quick to accuse the God of reformed theology of being cruel for condemning some to hell, while electing some to eternal life, but if God knows "our end before our beginning, then he obviously knows who will go to hell.If he then still creates the condemned man,Don't we still end up with the same result. The only possible acceptable answer to this dilemma is that God has chosen to display HIS GLORY with this eternal example ,and scripture backs this up endlessly!I know for sure that there was nothing in me capable of saving myself. No,Im afraid man doesn't choose very many things at all when it comes right down to it,we don't choose to be born, our race, sex, what country we are born in,our parents, our financial situation........or to die!And in the end Christ will choose OWN BRIDE!!!!You know, the one he died for,the many, the elect, the predestined, predetermined sheep that no one can snatch out of his hand.....and no you cant jump out either. Its an arranged marriage my friends and I for one am glad.I mean would you really want something so important as your eternal soul left up to a sinner like you?

How do Arminians pray for someone,oh Lord please help my sister to be saved, but, don't interfere with her free will, lol

Oh,and P.J. Im glad to hear that Christianity is not a mental thing,LOL:yay:
