I do not agree with what they are doing, it is shameful.

I feel they are a embarrassment to the christian community.

However.......

They should not be prohibited from protesting, this country is giving away to many freedoms already in the name of comfort and political correctness and this slope is to slippery. There are other ways to handle this with the laws we already have.

I read that a Christian biker group, went to stop them from protesting a funeral, and I thought that was great!!

One thing I don't like is when people call them "The westboro Baptist church".

They are NOT a church! They are ONE wacko Addams family.

I think it is disgusting that they protest not just funerals, but funerals of soldiers who have died in battle.

That is disgusting, and does not even resemble Christian belief, or actions.

I don't think any group should ever be allowed to protest at any funeral. What ever you want to say, it is too late at that point for that person, and so protesting should be outlawed at all funerals.

In Christ,

James

That's the beauty of freedom of speech, it lets you know what's in peoples hearts. Out of the abundance of the heart speaks the mouth.

I agree, they have the right to assemble, and protest, but their problem is not a legal one in this, as I see it... but it is a spiritual problem.

How dare they gather in the name of the Lord, and speak out such vile chants, using God's name and His words, and then have the nerves to think they are doing God's work.

I think the council of churches should step in and try and correct this mess, this is not something the court system should be involved with, becasue they are without their ammendment right to protect and should not be prohibited from doing so. But this is a spiritual moral issues, that the concil of churches should confront this so-called pastor with.

Its a shame before God and the Christian community, frustrating the grace and word of God to justify their own purposes. This is NOT spreading the gospel as they would have people to believe, and as their twisted pastor supposes.

This is evil being done in the name of the Lord.... they are calling evil as being good, this is really a form of blasphemey using God's name and His word in vain, ungodly purposes.

Right, Hilltop, I can hear them saying, "but Lord, didn't we at many funerals announce your word to the people in protest of sin before the world"...and Jesus will answer saying, "Go away from here, you workers of wickedness, I never knew you, from where do you come from??... this is so very sad.:excited:

We are indeed approaching the middle toward the last days...
