The lord said this truth to me one day, and I would like to share it that all could understand it, and remember it. Whenever you hear the voice of Justification, sin is right around the corner.
The church needs to awaken to the truth and also learn Satan's way's, there are no half truth"s:
God is Sovereign, so he can do whatever he wants!!
Total Inability
Total depravity
Irresistible Grace
Perseverance of the saints
Man's interpretation's
These are just some of the voice of Justification from men and their intention is to led you into their doctrine.
Faith does not come from the word of man, and cannot please God without faith.
I agree, these doctrines are like plastic fruit to a starving man. No matter how real and life sustaining they look they still smell like plastic and are unable to feed the spirit.
luther23.jpgI frankly confess that, for myself, even if it could be, I should not want free-will to be given me, nor anything to be left in my own hands to enable me to endeavour after salvation; not merely because in face of so many dangers, and adversities and assaults of devils, I could not stand my ground ; but because even were there no dangers I should still be forced to labour with no guarantee of success But now that God has taken my salvation out of the control of my own will, and put it under the control of His, and promised to save me, not according to my working or running, but according to His own grace and mercy, I have the comfortable certainty that He is faithful and will not lie to me, and that He is also great and powerful, so that no devils or opposition can break Him or pluck me from Him. Furthermore, I have the comfortable certainty that I please God, not by reason of the merit of my works, but by reason of His merciful favour promised to me; so that, if I work too little, or badly, He does not impute it to me, but with fatherly compassion pardons me and makes me better. This is the glorying of all the saints in their God - Martin Luther, The Bondage of the Will (Grand Rapids: Revell, 1957), 313-314.
To the Church of Ephesus - Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
To the Church in Smyrna - He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
To the Church in Pergamos - Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
To the Church in Thyatira - And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
To the Church in Sardis - He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
To the Church in Philadelphia - Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God...
To the Church of the Laodiceans - So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Read the reasons WHY the Lord gives these warnings to the 7 Churches. If there was/is no such thing as free will to go against the Lord, then why would it be necessary to be told to repent or face the consequences spoken of? Why the need to overcome if, as your article states,"God has taken my salvation out of the control of my own will"? Why would those in the Church in Sardis receive warning to have their name blotted out in the book of life if, as your article states, "God has taken my salvation out of the control of my own will"? And why is there the warning to those who are lukewarm that the Lord will spew them out of His mouth if, as your article states, "God has taken my salvation out of the control of my own will"?
