Both Calvin and Hobbs each owned 10,000 acre ranches. Both bought the best well trained horses money could buy. Each bought a mare and a stallion brought them home and put them in a pasture next to their houses. Both Calvin and Hobbs told their horses if they stayed in the pasture they would be well taken care off. However if they went out the gate, out on the ranch they and their offspring would become wild. Both Calvin's and Hobbs' horses went out the gate to onto 10,000 acres and they and their offspring became wild.

Years later a dam was to being built which would flood both ranches. The horse herds on both ranches needed to be dispersed. Since there was no market for wild horses they would have to be domesticed or sold to the killers.

Hobbs wanted to save as many as he could, so he went out among the horse herds and interacted with each horse. He chose horses with good confirmation and horses with good dispositions and any that showed a willingness to be domesticed. Some just followed him, others he roped and took to the training pen to see if they were willing to be domesticed. All that were willing to be domesticed were saved, all that refused were sold to the killers.

Calvin had a different plan. He decided he would only save 10% and the the other 90% would be sold to the killers. Calvin went out among the herds and picked 10% of them regardless of confirmation, disposition and willingness to be domesticated. He roped them and dragged them to the training pens, the other 90% he sold to the killers.

Very amusing Two, Both offered their horses free will to leave the pasture, Im thinking Hobbs gate was open for the horses to walk out and Calvins gate was closed and the horses needed to jump the gate to get out?

But I think its more like them darn horses ate all the apples off the trees and were all thrown out. hehe

Great post Two!

Answer:

Romans 9:10-21

10And not only so, but also when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, 11though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or badin order that Gods purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls 12she was told, "The older will serve the younger." 13As it is written, "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."

14What shall we say then? Is there injustice on Gods part? By no means! 15For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. 17For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth." 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.

19You will say to me then, "Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?" 20But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, "Why have you made me like this?" 21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use?

James replies:

Now, the REAL question is, will you accept it????

In Christ,

James

It is been approximately two years since I first heard of you James, and you have proved the word of God, to be as written but unfortunately not to the Glory of God, if you continue to sow the corrupted seed, the harvest will not be one you want.
