It is not right to think we are to "get right with God" because that would mean that we are rectified by Him and there will always be a "before and after" When we are Justified, God intentionally forgets the before and views us only in the light of the after...After we are washed in the blood of Jesus. There fore we are free of the guilt and shame that comes along with our past life of unbelief and we live in the joy and freedom of our present life of true belief. |

When we receive Jesus Christ inot our lives, and the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of us and we are set free from ALL past sins, the Holy Spirit gives us power NOT TO SIN and be condemned by God as a sinner. |
