If it is the start of Isaiah 19 then I say Woe to them for the cruel king is coming. They won�t be free til the Lord sends His savior and they call on the name Jesus Christ. Any ideas on this cruel king, real person, the brotherhood or maybe marxism or even democracy? The ghost horse was pretty wild, how about the UFO over the dome of the rock? Post Reply

Or as another founder put it, there is no difference between a despot of one and a despot of 139. We will see what happens with the Egyptian people and their false religion. Israel is very concerned. I can't picture the Egyptian people celebrating liberty for all. I hope I'm wrong. I hope they find peace and prosperity and leave Israel alone. Since there is only One that can give true liberty I have my doubts. Post Reply

Posted : 11 Feb, 2011 11:04 PM Well, most of the first part of Isaiah's prophecy in chapter 19, has already take place for Egypt, as through Pharaoh and all other cruel kings and dictators throughout Egypt's history. However, because of what Jesus speaks about in the gospel, and in Jeremiah, and Ezekiel about Israel's fall, and Jesus' warning to us about the end of time in the gospel, there is no doubt that the Arabic nations are going to come up against Israel in war, because as Jesus says, when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then you know that the time is drawing near for His return. I also believe that Egypt is going to be free for a long while, because Egpyt has been a place were God has used for His purposes throughout Biblical history in the Old and New Testaments. She might experience some problems down the road, becasue God is going to punish her for trun away from Israel. And according to Isaiah, as he says, Egypt is going to turn to the Lord, and continue to stand with Israel. Also, if you look at Isaiah, the Lord says, Egypt is going to be with Israel, in worshipping the Him, after He has come up against them for not take sides with Israel, and Egypt will eb His people. Therefore, as it stand now, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq and Syria are rather silent in thier stand with Israel, when compared to the other Arabic nations who hate Israel and are going to come up against her, according to prophecy. Therefore, it makes sense that God is setting Egypt, (Assyria) Iraq, and Syria up, for His word to be fulfilled, and then after they have come to their senses after suffering at the hands of God, what I am seeing is that Egtpt, Assyria, Jordan, and Syria are going to side with Israel, and help her fight. Egypt's victory today, is all aprt of God's plan for the protection of Israel, and for the fulfilling of His word. This si also why US is in Iraq, ain't about nobody but God's purpose, plans, and the fulfilling of His word, working toward the set up for His millienial kingdom... the cming of HIs Son. Post Reply

The Muslim Brotherhood assasinated Sadat because he made a peace agreement with Israel. Now the Muslim Brotherhood is poised to be part of the new "democracy." Now Europe is condemning multiculturalism. This can't be good. Stay tuned. Post Reply

Posted : 12 Feb, 2011 10:49 AM No matter what we say or predict about Egypt, please remember that there are hundreds of Christians there...out own brothers and sisters, who I have personally experienced to be very strong because they are outnumbered by Muslims. They love the Lord, their church, and their families just like you and I do. They want peace and safety, all along they hold on to their faith and perservere. I have found that where there is persecution, there is faith that is strong. BTW - if you look closely, you will notice that the world and ungodliness is inching out the Christian voice in the U.S. as well, and we wiil be persecuted too. So hey, here's an idea...why don't we just PRAY for them? We are all steadily moving towards a time when the world (not just Egypt) will be against Israel. Oh, and flyby - wife beaters are everywhere. Post Reply

Posted : 12 Feb, 2011 11:59 AM One thing we do know according to what Jesus has prophecied is that Israel will be brought to her knees when the Arabic nations and others come up against her, but we also see that this IS the ONLY way anyone will be able to conquer Israel, wihen the double-team against her. Israel is God's people, ad He will never allow anyone to destroy her. Hilltop, I'm with you concerning the brotherhood, and they are guilty of many sins against Israel and stirring up mess, and they also killed Sadat. But we also must remember that as you said, Egypt had three wars against Israel, but we know who won those wars lol... so, this is another reason why there is peace, Egypt is really afraid of Israel, because God has said any nation that wars against Israel, He would war against them, and they lose. But as Isaiah, Jereimiah, Daniel, Joel, and Ezekel have prophecied, it will be another leader in Egpyt who will come up against Israel who thinks he can defeat her, but we don't know when this will be, so there is peace for now. But all the Arabic nations will join in against Israel according to porphecy, and God is going to bring Egypt to their knees not only for their sins against God, but for coming up against Israel, as He's promised to do with every nation that comes up against Israel. Prophecy also tells us that because Israel depends on Egypt for peace, God is going to allow these things to happen, becasue Israel depended on Egypt for peace and protection, instead of depending on God by faith to protect her. We also, must keep in mind that Ishmal is NOT the son of promise, but of the flesh, and Isaac being the promise son, as God had promised Abraham. Ishmal and Isaac have never gotten alone when they were children, Ishaml was jealous of Isaac, and fought with him, this is why God made Abraham put Hadgar and Ishmal out of his house, but God also gave Ishmal a promised blessings as well. All these Middle Eastern nations are children of all these people decendants of Ishmal and Esua, and on and on. The fight between the two half brothers, is continuing today, generations later. Two half brothers still fighting through their generation of children children, grand children, great grand children's children.Ishaml's mother was Egyptian, so Ishaml was half Jewsish and Egyptian. There is an Egyptian Jews population in Egypt, generation children of children of Jews who live in Egypt.. Egypt will be destroyed by God, and will also be restored when she converts from her religious sins to God, according to bible prophecy in Isaiah, and this is when Israel and Egypt will be at peace and joined together. Again, this is God setting up for Christ's return, and His Millenial Kingdom, and when all the nations that come up against Israel will be destroyed by God, adn Israel will be go away into captivity, BUT will be restored again and everyone who has been against her in war, will then come to Israel to worship God , since the bible tells us that the kingdom will be setup in Israel. As you say Margo, and This is also why we are exhorted in scripture to PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM! BTW, Margo, I saw that comment, but didn't respond, because Flyby, should know that wife beating is not a Muslim thing, its a "so-called man" thing all over the world done by insecure men who feel inferior to strong women when they feel that they have lost their power over the woman. Wife beating is also done by "so-called men" who think women are inferior to the man and should be beaten into submission.
