8 Steps to Sanification: (At least comment agree or disagree)

Are we as Christians doing what Jesus wants us today?

Are we sharing the Gospel to the unbelievers?

I created a little 8 page book that I keep in my car when needed to share the gospel. I don't sit in the parking lot of WalMart and place them on cars or had them out as tracks.

I wait for the Holy Spirit to tell me, to talk to someone and I strive to meet a new person everyday. That means just to take 5 minutes out of our busy day, just to meet someone new and see how their is going and find out as much about that person in that 5 minutes. If, it goes past five minutes so be it. I am equip with everything only if I sense that person is needing God in their life.

This little book cost me 9 cents to print. I have my number and my church infomation on it, if they need to talk another time. Give me your thoughts and views:

Eternal Life!

Would you like to live forever? How about your love ones? There is no money that can buy it, its priceless. Along with that, you will have such a better life you are living today! Gods love is waiting on you to decide. Do you want it? Who wouldnt want it.

This is not about any religion. Its not a religious thing that you might have heard before. That is all about works! I am talking about having a Personal Relationship with God our Heavenly Father.

God the father, Jesus the son and the Holy Spirit is called the Trinity! All one Superior Being!

Believing in God will not get you to Heaven. Believing you are a good person or you give to the poor or even going to church and give money will not get you in heaven either! Just Confessing Jesus will not either, example Jehovah Witness, Mormons, Judaism and many Catholics. All of that is from works or deeds!

God is not the author of sin! We are all born into sin, it doesnt make no difference how good a person we are. Jesus died for our sins at the cross so we could be saved. Jesus is the only way to our Heavenly Father!

9Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. 2 Timothy 1:9

20Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 3:20KJV

He is always near you and he is waiting on you!

FIRST SEEK: You must seek Jesus. How do you find him? In humble prayers to him and in his instruction manual, The Holy Bible! I recommend start reading the Gospel in the New Testament, the first 4 books.

The best place to find him is in the Body of Jesus Christ his church. He always shows up there, if you are in the right church. The right church you can feel love with others and in the worship you can feel his Holy Presence.

Remember, when he shows up or calls on you, surrender to him, dont fight it, all he wants you to do is take that first step and he will help you with the rest. In God's word it says to seek the Lord: Do it with all your heart.

I did it the harder way because I was a long distance truck driver and when I was home, I didnt have a church that I liked. My church was my Truck. I prayed many months, reading my Bible and listening to Southern Gospel Music on XM Radio, #34 The Enlighten, He showed up 5 years ago for me! Praise God, I am Saved and have eternal life with Jesus Now!

"but if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou shalt seek him with all thy heart and soul." Duet. 4:29 "Now set your heart and soul to seek the Lord your God..." 1 Chron. 22:19

6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6KJV

Page 3

SECOND BELIEVE: You must believe in Jesus and the gospel and you have to repent meaning turn around in the life you have been living (Sins) and start living to serve Jesus Christ our Savior the rest of your life.

15And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:15KJV

THIRD FAITH: Grace is Gods Part, Faith is our Part, in the assuring our Salvation!

8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.9Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV

FOURTH CONFESS: You can do this with another Born again Believer Today, then find a good church you enjoy and feels good to you and confess it again and get Baptist.

9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9KJV

FIFTH CONFIRMING YOUR FAITH IN HIM:

13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:13 KJV

SIXTH REPENTANCE: When you repent you will start seeing a change, in the way you act, in the way you speak, and you act more and more Christ Like, because you receive the Holy Spirit and will enjoy the Relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ. He gave us the Holy Spirit when he ascended

Page 4

into heaven to finish his work here on earth till he comes again to receive his servants for his Kingdom that we are building for him. See Mark 1:15 KJV

SEVENTH RECEIVING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:

9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 8:9KJV

2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2 KJV

Being a born again Christian, God gives us the free gifts of the Spirit. You will know when you start receiving them in your life. These gifts are the same gifts that Jesus used when he was on this earth sharing the gospel. You will know other Christians that you have never met before by their fruits of the Holy Spirit.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Galatians 5:22

1.The word Spirit is with a capital S which means these 9 fruits are coming directly from the Holy Spirit, not from us.

2.What this means is that Gods love, Gods peace, Gods joy and Gods goodness can start to be transmitted up into our personality. Jesus had these attributes and personality qualities that will start to move into the core of our personality.

3.Think about the ramifications of this that God the Father Himself is allowing us to share in a part of His divine nature by allowing His Holy Spirit to transmit and impart these nine divine

Page 5

qualities right up into our soul and personality!

We are the clay and he is the potter. He will mold us into his vessel.

8But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. Isaiah 64:8 KJV

EIGHTH SANCTIFICATION:

The Bible tells us that God wants to transform and sanctify us by the renewing of our minds. He wants to transform us into the express image of His Son Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. This sanctification-transformation process works into your personality so God can fully change you into the kind of person He wants you to become in Him.

Building your faith means trusting in him until he gives you the wisdom!

The Bible says in 2 Peter 1:3 that as we grow in our knowledge of God, through his divine power he gives us everything we need for life and godliness.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 NIV

The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18

For God is not the author of confusion but of peace ...

1 Corinthians 14:33 NKJV

Page 6

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair ... 2 Corinthians 4:8 NIV

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Romans 8:28 NLT

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

2 Timothy 1:7 NLT

"In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ." 1 Peter1:6-7

It comes from studying of the Evidence for God from the Bible. Good Christian Books will help and once the Holy Spirit comes upon you the Bible will get clearer, the more you read and continually stay in prayer the more he gives you to build up your faith and trust in him. Find a Church you feel love and feel Gods Holy Present.

Get around people of faith. Hang out with them. Encourage them, and let them encourage you. Finding a good church will feed you what you need - and make a commitment to be a part of it.

I gave you the milk, we are all babies in Christ Eyes, he will supply the meat for you to grow in him!

Enjoy your journey in Christ

I was raised in a church that taught five steps to salvation:

Hear the word,Believe the word, Receive the word, Confess, and be baptized. (also heard the first three and then confess and repent or repent and be baptized.) I'm not sure we need to itemize steps like that, or like the eight you named, and it leads to arguments about exactly what steps are and aren't necessary.

Aside from that, this stood out:

"FOURTH CONFESS: You can do this with another Born again Believer Today, then find a good church you enjoy and feels good to you and confess it again and get Baptist." For starters, people shouldn't look for a church they "enjoy and feels good", they should look for one where they can grow spiritually and where they learn more about God. There are a lot of things that "feel good" that aren't good, after all. For seconds, I don't believe it's necessary to "get Baptist." Get baptized, maybe, but not necessarily Baptist.

Marika

Good proof reading, I forgot about the healthy wealthy churches that teaches what God can do for them, instead of what we can do for God. I meant and will correct my little book to say feel the Holy Spirit presence and see the love for others within the Church. People don't need alot of rules in a church and a church not showing mercy and justice toward others. I know the Bible really Don't say much about Baptism, But when I had victory in the Lord, I wanted to do it because Jesus did it. It's like telling Jesus, I want to be more Christ Like. The Bible says when Jesus was baptised the Holy Spirit came upon him. The process is simple and not hard once you get his attention.

Blessings to you:applause:

If the Spirit tells us to talk to a person don't ignore the Spirit. This person might be really troubled and going hard times. Let us all be more Christ Like in our lives. He left us what he had to finish his work. Share the Good News. There is a old saying if you don't use it, you loose it.

I don't agree with leading someone to Jesus and then telling them to find a church. It's your job to disciple them not just get them saved. Without discipleship what good is their salvation? This is the biggest of my problems with street evangelism and one of the many reasons I don't believe in it. As I have said before we are to make disciples not converts.

Thunder, I like that-"We should make disciples and not converts". Another thing, discipling is much more than just inviting someone to attend services.
