Does it Glorify man when Jesus, made mention of Man's faith?

Mt 9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

Mt 9:22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Mt 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Mr 10:52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Do you suppose Jesus was confused, he pointed out these people had faith and they where not even saved?

PJ,

I think you can take any of the scriptures you posted and take out the word "faith" and substitute "belief in Me" (Me=Jesus) and it would mean the exact same thing.

It was the "object" of their faith that made a difference. It is reasonable to assume these people had faith in other things that had failed them before Jesus came along.

Glorifies HIM. Those you referred to are examples to onlookers/us-readers-of-the-Bible as to what can happen if we believe in Him also.

I think you're right PJ. Jesus should have preached a sermon, taken an offering and offered an altar call before healing these non-believers. The nerve of Him!!! Healing the unsaved like that!!

Really? Who are you to judge their spiritual condition when every one of us can be brought into question so many times a day. Be careful how you judge lest you set the standard by which you will be judged.

Get a grip man.

The problem I see with the doctrine of faith is, that would make the bible have contradictions. While the doctrine of grace includes faith, the other discounts election and God's drawing of man.

How can you reconcile those scriptures to you opinion, PJ?

Well Leon very simple by believing scripture?

There is no doctrine of only the elect, can be saved?

Your answer is in the parable of the sower, but one must first hear, then believe, and then as Jesus said it is man's choice.
