A story from long ago:

A man and his wife were on their way home from church one warm, summer, Sunday afternoon in a horse and buggy. Along the way the horse stopped an stretched his neck through a fence to reach some new, sweet grass along the side of the road. The man became angry with the horse and pulled his head out of the fence looked the horse right in the face and said, "That's one". He got back in the buggy and started down the road.

After a while the horse went off the road again! This time to eat some sweet, white and yellow daisies. The man was furious and jumped out of the buggy, jerked the horses face up out of the daisies looked him square in the eyes and said, "That's two!!!". He got back in the buggy and started down the road again.

Eventually the road came to a small stream and of course as they crossed the horse stopped to get a drink. The couple waited and waited and waited. Finally the man cracked his whip and yelled "Yeah!!!" but the horse didn't move. The man tried a few more times but the horse kept drinking the water until finally the man got out of the buggy jerked the horses face up out of the water and screamed, "That's three!!! and then he shot the horse dead.

The man's wife was so angry that he shot the horse she said, "Now we have to walk all the way home, get another horse and you have to come back for the buggy in the morning! That is the stupidest thing I have ever seen you do!!! ". The man waded over to the buggy, took her gently by the hand and looked her square in the eye and said, "That's one"

Titus 3:10

" Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him second time. After that, have nothing to do with him."

Cute story,Thunder.

Guess the moral is--- make sure you hide your husband's gun before you go riding a horse and buggy with him.

I don't know that there is a precedent from the Bible that would fit that story. I version I heard had the man picking up his mail-order bride. He met her at the boat and they took a long ride home. She found out what she got into!
