HI all, I have another question for the crowd. Does anyone here have any preferences over reading the old testament to the new testament. I personally have been on a old testament kick right now.

Also, what is your favorite book in the testament you prefer?

I tend to enjoy Leviticus myself. Cheers to you all :dancingp:

Well when I want inspiration from the words of Jesus it's the new testament. But I really love the stories of the old testament...Especially David's life...and Joseph's life...

I like the book of Daniel, a book of concealing, God tells Daniel seal the book, he does this by not telling the full description of the fourth beast, but here comes the book of revealing, Revelation, God tells John to NOT seal this book, and in Chapter 13 he tells the description of the fourth beast of Daniel and it is a combination of all three of Daniels beast, Iraq (babylon), Iran, (Persia) and Grecia (all muslims), the lion the bear and the leopard, see how easy that was,,,ssmile

I like the OT very much, especially the stories where God's will is emotionally proclaimed. So I like the prophets, especially Amos.

I also like the archaic langage in the OT (yes, I know some Hebrew), it's full of strength and power.

In the NT, Paul comes close to this, especialy in Galatians, which is my favorite bible book. It contains al that is important (for my faith), it's short to read it completely in har times and it is strengthening.

I don't like law texts such as Leviticus. They apear very boring to me and very static. I'm more for the dynamics, they touch my heart.

God bless
