,,,, Pre,,,,, Mid,,,,, or,,,,, Post Trib.

I am not here to change or convert anyone to my beliefs, so lets just have some fun and express our points realizing we all could be wrong about any given thing concerning this suject,,,

As we know that we sometimes look through a glass darkly,,, and knowing in part too. God bless all who join in.

I believe we're Going Up before God pours out His wrath upon the inhabitants on the earth. I'll be back later with

scriptures that support my position; have to look them up :glow:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore COMFORT one another with these Words.

1 Thessalonians 3:17,18

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:9

I believe in the Rapture.

God Bless You All,

so where is our beliefs according to the time frame that the rapture, ( the catching away) will take place,

I have heard all three sides presented by many scholars in a ministrial prophetic conference before,, quite interesting. These men were well learned and know how to rightly dievide the truth. the only problem was at the end of it all,,, you left thinking,,, pray for pre trib and prepare for post,,, that way you have all the bases covered,,, keep them coming,,,

yes, I would like to hear the verses we use to suport and point to the timing of such event as the catching away.

bye bye,,, bruce,,,:prayingm:

Thank you for the boundaries for the posting. :prayingf:

Short?

Pre-tribulation

I did some research because it was too early for my brain on such a subject of potential controversy. I came across an article titled "50 Reasons for a Pre-Tribulation Rapture" by John Walvood. He is a relatively well known writer. So, I don't believe in re-inventing the wheel....I chose reason 13.

"13.The church is not appointed to wrath (Rom. 5:9: 1 Thess. 1:9-10; 5:9). The church therefore cannot enter "the great day of their wrath" (Rev. 6:17). "

If anyone would like a copy just e-mail me.

Looked up "Signs Pre-Tribulation" Found a great teaching tool, very concise; it's in table format. Called:

"Signs of the Last Generation" w/24 verses and explainations of the eminence of the events of today and the rapture.

Luke 21:

8He replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is near.' Do not follow them. 9When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away."

10Then he said to them: "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

V10 "Fearful events" I would include all the weather disasters as an example.

Please forgive my reluctance to do my own research. Normally, I do. I have had an exhausting week and find myself awake early but particularly tired this morning. My usual cup of coffee is not yet:bouncy:?

Come , my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

For , behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity:the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Isaiah 26: 20,21

I've heard it preached that the above is a Prophecy concerning the Rapture.

After giving it some thought I'm really not sure whether I believe it will happen Pre or Mid. But my heart tells me; God Loves us too much for it to be Post. It's a FEARFUL thing

to fall into the hands of the Living God; the tribulation will be

mind blowing to say the least.:prayingm:

Great Post, Bruce !

I just think it's best to be ready at all points. There are people going through tribulations elsewhere even now so even though I lean more to rapture first I choose not to go further...Even so come quickly, Lord....

i think its better to be ready at all points too,,, especially in this post,,, to funny,,,,i am still looking for sonmeone to give me scripture telling when the rature takes place,,,

Corinthians 10 indicate some things very important,,,

the wrath verse i think does not apply in true text form to THE RAPTURE AT ALL,,,, it is used mainly as a way to say why God would not let us go through the tribulation instead of indicating it anything about the rapture.

Well, I think that Satan is trying to keep me quiet on this!! I have been under the preaching of many pastors during my lifetime about the tribulation. Based on the information that I heard from them, all Christians, alive and those buried, will be raptured at the time that Christ returns for his "bride". There will still be a chance of becoming a Christian for those who are left on the earth, but it will be very difficult for this to happen. During this tribulation period, those who do not go along with the only way of buying and selling (taking the "mark of the beast") will be killed - but they will go to heaven. In "Post Tribulation", I have been taught that Christ will set up His kingdom and reign for 1,000 years - Satan will be bound and not have any power and be sent to hell.

I'm a firm believer that God will not put us through the tribulation (those of us who are Christian).
