1 Prophet, 1 Apostle and 1 other: apply reason and scripture
One third of the Bible is Prophecy, many say it is not important to study, before this last generation began, I might agree, but know it has been revealed to us in truth so we can understand things revealed to us in the future. It is not there to scare us but for us to prepare and warn us when prophecy starts being fulfilled right in front us.
I have always enjoyed reading prophecy so Daniel is the man for my inspired Prophet. He relates to me in many ways. He was fearless. He told it like it was and his visions, I understand them.
The first part of the book of Daniel in the Bible tells some stories from the life of Daniel and his friends. Many times the people of Babylon tried to make them forget the real God and to serve false gods. The people of Babylon even tried to kill Daniel and his friends because they would not serve the false gods. But Daniel and his friends were loyal to the real God. Daniel became a very important man in the government of Babylon.
The second part of the book of Daniel tells about Daniel's dreams. These were strange dreams. Sometimes Daniel was awake when he had his dreams. These were special dreams that God sent to Daniel to tell him what would happen in the future. Some things that Daniel saw in his dreams have now happened. Other things that God told Daniel in his dreams have not happened yet. But God is in control of the future. God will do what he has promised.
He describes the many destructions of Babylon the nation that will occur over 1000s of years to include Mystery Babylon in Revelation in the last days.
This book ends in Daniel 12 and talks about the last generation we are living and things that will happen before it all ends with the coming of our Lord.
John was the man that was chosen to finish up Gods Inspired Words for us to dwell on. Many Christians have a hard time with Revelation, but if you read it literally as future events that must happen, and relate parts to Daniels vision, you will believe it is prophecy that has not been fulfilled but things that must happen from the 7 seals, the 7 trumpets in order, then wrath of Satan which is the Tribulation, then Jesus takes us out of the wrath of God. We all must go through the Tribulation, so if you believe we are not all I can say is Prepare for the worst and Hope for the Best. This PreTrib rapture is a False Doctrine started in the 1850s over a book. Many people since that time has made so much money off on this because people in general likes good news instead of bad news.
Let no man deceive you seek the Truth in the Word!
Sampson was my hero. I use to play the Incredible Hulk when my kids were little.
The Samson Bible Story
In the Bible: Judges 13 - 16
Samson Bible Story
Samson is the only man mentioned in the Bible with extraordinary strength. With his strength came many passions he could not easily keep under control. Do you suppose the reason his eyes were taken out because they caused him to sin so often? Or was it a sign of embarrasment in that culture?

@ MrRow:
Hey row:
Sometimes YHWH uses those we consider knuckleheads, yet He uses the most unlikely people to speak to us.
They might see and hear things others do not, these are the ones that people consider crazy.
The donkey being a beast of burden, and not a bright animal saw The Angel of GOD ( Yeshua taking the form of an angel).
Yet the one who should have seen the Angel of GOD did not.
Like the men when Paul was knocked to the ground by Yeshua.
Just because someone may not be important, this does not mean they do not have important things to say.
Num 22:21 And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his donkey, and went with the princes of Moab.
Num 22:22 And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his donkey, and his two servants were with him.
Num 22:23 And the donkey saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the donkey turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the donkey, to turn her into the way.
Num 22:24 But the angel of the LORD stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side.
Num 22:25 And when the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he smote her again.
Num 22:26 And the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.
Num 22:27 And when the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he smote the donkey with a staff.
Num 22:28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?
Num 22:29 And Balaam said unto the donkey, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.
Num 22:30 And the donkey said unto Balaam, Am not I thine donkey, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.
Num 22:31 Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.
Num 22:32 And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine donkey these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me:
Num 22:33 And the donkey saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive.
