In my opinion political correctness may be good and bad. there are instances in which political correctness reminds us that there are not only men in this world. on the other hand, there are instances when a politically correct term is just a way of blinding us to obvious things. But I think there is a difference between common sense/common decency and political correctness. When you have to tiptoe around things to avoid stepping on toes, that's political correctness.
