She just won't keep her nasty head down. She wants to raise up and kill, steal and destroy...from men of God.
You know it is called "the deep things of satan", right?
Rev 2:24 But the rest of you in Thyatira-all who don't hold on to Jezebel's teaching, who haven't learned what are called the deep things of Satan-I won't burden you with anything else.
God said Don't tolerate that woman!
Rev 2:20 But I have something against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. She teaches and misleads my servants to sin sexually and to eat food sacrificed to idols.
If jezebel is in pursuit of you to control your actions, beware. This is a serious warning.
2Ki 9:36 They came back and told him. Jehu said, "The LORD spoke through his servant Elijah from Tishbe. He said, 'Dogs will eat Jezebel's body inside the walls of Jezreel.
2Ki 9:37 Jezebel's corpse will be like manure on the ground in the fields surrounding Jezreel so that no one will be able to say that this is Jezebel.'"
1Ti 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
Heb 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Let me just state for the record, I love men of God. I love, love, love the men who God Himself chose to lead His children. I will expose this spirit and it's actions every time I recognize it. I will not wink at it. It is evil pure and simple.
God doesn't roll like that; neither do I. Please!! I beg you, take heed.

Too many people tolerate and even accept the enemy's attacks on God's chosen but , Praise God, there are still many of His children who won't compromise or bow down to the antics of jezebel. I would like to know what are the characteristics of a man or a woman who has a Jezebel spirit?
Also, is Revelation chapter 2:verse 24 speaking about a literal person in Tyatira, or symbolic?
And is this Jezebel in Revelation the same Jezebel in the book of Kings who gave Elijah a run for his money, and had power over her husband and killed the prophets?

What's a Jezebel spirit all about?
Your'e so right River, Jezebel can be a man or a women who is a false wife, friend, church member, preacher, prophet, teacher, or prophetess in the church who sees sin and over looks it, and speak a lie with twisted scriptures to make their points, and involves themsleves in sexual immorality, is controlling, and believes witchcraft the demonic activity of the devil.
There are also Jezebels spirits that control people that are passive and compassionate, with a good girl type appearance, and their goal is the same as the Jezebel of the book of Kings. The passive Jezebel seeks being in total control, not only in the church, but in the home, over her husband, children, friends, on her job, etc.
So how does a person discern a wicked Jezebel spirit?
I should have posted with the above... nevertheless. yes, Row, I'm waiting for the prophetic information as to how a person is to discern a Jezzz-zzza-bel spirit, so we ALL will know what to look out for... I mean, I wanna roll with God and the best of them who roll with God:dancingp:
Here is a description of Jezebel and the Jezebel spirit from the book, "The Elijah Legacy" by David Davis copyright 2003 by David Davis. I highly recommend reading this book to anyone but especially to those interested in prophecy concerning the Middle East and Islam.
From page 203 The Characteristics of Jezebel: The original Jezebel was the daughter of a pagan king who had murdered his own brother in order to take his crown. He was also High Priest of Sidon. Jezebel would have been raised as a devotee of the goddess Asherah "the abomination of the Sidonians" (2 Kings 23:13) [Asherah] was the sexual partner of Baal, and the goddess of fertility, sex and debauchery in Canaanite belief and practice. Child sacrifice, prostitution of young girls and homosexuality were ritually practiced at her shrines on the high places.
From page 204 Jezebel in the Church: The prototype Jezebel, the Sidonian sorceress who married into the royal house of Israel, represents demonic spiritual authority that challenges and seduces God's people in order to abort God's purposes. Jesus identified the main traits and symptoms of this demonic spirit, which include: idolatry and witchcraft, sexual immorality, false prophecy, sickness, envy and hatred of God given authority, and lust for control - all leading to physical or spiritual death or both.
From page 206 Don't Tolerate Jezebel: Jealousy, or covetousness, is the root of the lust for control. Jezebel disinherited Naboth by taking his God-given land and then murdering him. Whatever disguise Jezebel may assume, underneath she is always self-seeking and self-absorbed. A person infected with this spirit will often talk about themselves and will usually have a hidden agenda.
Jezebels are always "religious" She or he may be the first to cry, or travail, claiming a burden from God. Such people may claim to be "special" vessels of God and exhibit spiritual elitism. When exposed and unmasked, false spirituality and an independent "lone ranger" spirit of rebellion will be revealed.
Once you become familiar with the characteristics of this spirit you will see it in every church you go to. My late wife came under the power of this spirit and no matter how much I and my friends struggled against her she became increasingly difficult to tolerate. After she died some of my pastor friends and other men I trusted and who are powerful men of God discussed how this spirit may have destroyed her. It was a very sad and terrible thing to have to live through. So now I have my guard up all the time and like Elijah, when this spirit raises its ugly head I run the other way.
I know I have mentioned this before about Jezebel and David Davis also mentions this and that is that the spirit of Jezebel appears as a very large snake. My late wife, her son and I were all exposed to this spirit quite early on in our ministry. My step son saw the serpent. He said it looked like an Anaconda. It wasn't long after that that my wife began displaying the "symptoms" of this spirit and they became increasingly worse over the next four years until she died of cancer.
I too will always expose this spirit anytime I see it and I will counsel anyone that displays the symptoms of it.
