But all sins can be forgiven past, present and future. So the short answer to your question is "NO". All suicides do not go to hell. Here is just one example. A Christian works on the top floor of a building a plane just flew into he has black smoke and flames all around him and a window in front of him and he jumps 300 feet to his death does he go to hell for killing himself? Posted : 10 Oct, 2010 10:49 AM Or, someone could take a bunch of pills or slit their wrists and then, realizing how final death is, change their mind. They call 911, and while waiting for emergency personnel to arrive, they are praying and repenting. By the time emergency personnel arrive, they've died. But they repented. Or someone has a horrid disease and is in tremendous pain. The doctors put them on oxygen and feeding tubes, but they don't want to be kept alive in this way. In the night, they remove the oxygen. They are found dead in the morning. Suicide is selfish, but most suicidal people don't want to die. They are dying for help, for someone to care and reach out in a way they understand. Post Reply

View Profile History	Do ALL suicides go to hell? Posted : 10 Oct, 2010 03:38 PM I do not believe that a person who jumps off a building after a plane hit it is committing suicide. If you are outnumbered and give yur life to save others in war that is not suicide either. Suicide, is in my view when you commit an act to end your life with out due cause. just because you do not wish to live any more. That is taking a life that is innocent of any wrong doing. So, now that I hope I have seperated the difference of what suicide is I will let it be the Fathers call.Jesus said the Father decides. Dennis Post Reply

I don't think they "all" do, but any(at least the christian ones) that "give up", are basically denying the power of Jesus to shelter their soul. I was pretty close to this myself, but I gave up on the idea and decided that even if I didn't want my life anymore, I might as well let God have it. Besides, suicide is pretty selfish in most cases. Most of the time they are only thinking of themselves. They don't care about the pain their actions will cause others, they just want their pain to stop. I don't believe anyone with that kind of attitude will make it to heaven, even though I really can't blame people for doing it sometimes...I know some of the circumstances are pretty horrible, and it is so easy to lose faith... :peace::peace: Post Reply
View Profile History	Do ALL suicides go to hell? Posted : 10 Oct, 2010 07:23 PM I recently heard a guy on tv talking about this. He attempted suicide by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. He was falling at 70 miles per hour when he hit the water. He survived but he has four crushed vertebrae. He said that people who commit suicide usually don't want to die but they believe they have no choice. In his case he kept hearing voices telling him to kill himself. Finally he was convinced that he had to do it. As soon as he jumped he knew he wanted to live. Until then it had not been a question. Over 100 people jump off the Golden Gate Bridge every year. There have been 30 or so survivors of their attempts. Many of the stories I have read about demon possession involve suicide. Remember the story in the NT of the boy that had a demon that would throw him in the fire? I read one story that took place somewhere in East Europe. A boy that was possessed was at the dinner table with his family when he suddenly jumped to his feet then ran outside and dove down the well. This guy talked about hearing voices. Is it possible that some people that commit suicide are demon possessed and even more of them are oppressed by demons? I've had three friends commit suicide. Every time it was a surprise but given time to think about what was going on with them it makes sense. Itwas an awful shame but I can see now what might have been the cause. Thunder Post Reply

If an unsaved person commits suicide, she/he goes to hell. It doesn't have to do with the method of death (even if that method is a sin), it has to do with the person's faith in Christ and acceptance of God's gift of salvation. Post Reply
