I can just imagine what all of you are already thinking, just from the title of this. Never the less, I still say, �Praise the Lord for Obama�. For the Lord has shown me how he is using Obama for his good. The good that too many Christians or most Christians are blind too and being so caught up in the battles against him, and also just their plain dislike for him, etc...It may seem bad on the outside and in the ways you are seeing things, but I pray that what the Lord is leading me to share with you will change your hearts.
I was listening to the Kevin McCullough Show this morning. Like every other morning he was ranting about Obama, which to me gets pretty old. This morning it was the new taxes on small business, and the working people. He went on to share that the taxes would still be higher for big business, but he was so focused on all Obama was doing to raise the taxes more on the working person.
I�ll get back Kevin in a bit, but I want to share with you what the Lord has been showing me all along from the start of Obama becoming President. At Obama�s Inauguration the Holy Spirit showed me Obama was not the Christian he had professed to be while he was running. The Holy Spirit had been speaking to my heart to have my eyes open and just watch for him to guide me to truth about Obama. The Holy Spirit has been teaching me to allow him to prove all things in time, and not to jump to any conclusions, or go along with other Christians just because. He has shown me that following others and joining in a fight before being lead, that it can cause one to miss out on the true picture and all the Lord is doing and what he can do, and how he can use each and everything for his good.
During the Inauguration, watching Obama and his wife. I felt an uneasy feeling coming over me, but also wanted to honor the Lord and give him praise for our new leader. It was truly a little odd. Then during the prayer is when the Holy Spirit revealed the truth that Obama had lied about his faith in Christ and being a Christian. Watching both he and his wife not even bow their heads, nor give any reverence to the Lord, but to talk back and forth to one another instead, as if the prayer was meaningless. Since then I have still been lead to just pray, watch, and allow the Lord to prove all things. It has not been easy either. Watching Obama do one thing after another against the ways of the Lord. Then too, to watch all the hatred in Christians grow for Obama, and the battles they were and are waging against him, it�s like an all out war, with their eyes closed.
In meantime too, the Holy Spirit has shown me how this great nation, once God fearing, has now thrown him aside for their justified ways. How the true Christian is no longer the majority, but the minority here today. How the battles all seem to be being lost by us Christians. How what was once a for God nation, is now a nation against him. How what our For-Father had once started and built in him, was now being torn all apart as if it meant nothing.
The on other hand the Holy Spirit has been showing me how many more today are coming to him because of what is going on. Since Obama�s taking office, I have seen Christian�s faith grow more and more and started seeing more and more people coming to believe in Christ and have faith in him. It has all been hard to understand, but still I have just sat back and watched for the most part, keeping my eyes open to what he was leading me to, and going to reveal to me more in depth of the whole picture. He just had to lead me little by little, placing each piece into place.
Now back to Kevin and his show. Listening to Kevin go on and on about taxes and what was going to be taken out of our pockets, then it started to hit me. The Holy Spirit put upon my heart. Well it was the people, all of us who have benefited from the Government programs, and the milk and honey lifestyle we have all enjoyed for years. Should we not pay for what we have gotten? Look at all the nice homes, cars, clothes, toys, etc� that everyone has! We as a nation have come to believe we should all have this many luxuries that we all enjoy, but then not pay for the all nice roads, schools, government programs etc.. That we all enjoy and are so blessed with. We want our cake and to eat it too! So in truth, our taxes being raised is just us now paying for what we have already received. Yes, responsibility for what we have. So everyone won�t be able to have that real nice fancy home, car, and all the toys they now have. Yes, what Obama is doing is bringing this nation to its knees. Yes, he is destroying many of the things in the Lord this country was founded on and built on. People will truly struggle, and now have to work harder to just live and get by. This takes me back to our For-Fathers. How they struggled to live. How they only had a small home, barn, a few cooking things, simple table, beds if they had that. How they only one or maybe two sets of clothes, one for summer and one set for winter. It also takes me to what I have always wished people today here were like, but are not. How our For-fathers families were close. How neighbors were like family and helped one another. How they all put their faith in the Lord, and truly knew what faith was, unlike many of today�s so called Christians who just go to church to go, but it truly means nothing in their lives.
Yes, the Lord has shown me that Obama is truly a blessing! He is bringing this country to its knees. Just exactly what this country needs, to be humbled! It was when this country was young, struggling, and had little in worldly things. That it was great, because it had the Lord and placed its value in him. Yes, hard times are coming! Many will lose all they have in material things, and begin to struggle and even suffer. Just go back to the word though. It says that it is hard for a rich man to get to heaven. Reason being, he has faith in what he has, and not in Christ. The poor have nothing but Christ in which to put their faith. So American Christians, stop all your worrying! What is important? All the material things you have, or your faith and the hope that all will come to believe in Christ and have faith? The Lord is answering our prayers, but just not in the ways you want. He is doing a much greater thing then we could have imagined! He is removing the things people once had, in hopes their faith will turn to him. I see many coming to him as times get harder and harder. I see people bonding together once again as did our For-Fathers in faith and helping one another. I do also see the rich trying to grab all they can as have the rich done over the ages.
Just like other countries around the world that are in civil war, wars etc...People are being killed, persecuted, suffering, struggling, etc...But on the other hand they are coming to have faith in Christ, the only thing that matters and will sustain us though eternity. In other words, we cannot take our cake to heaven, nor is it what our life in Christ is, or should be about. This is a time for praise, and encouraging others more and more to put their faith in Christ. To share with them that even in death, he is holding us in his hand, securely and forever. So American Christians, give praise to the Lord for Obama, knowing that what he is doing will bring about change in turn in the hearts of many and bring them to faith and true life. Praise the Lord for Obama! May we give thanks in all things always and forever in faith, knowing the Lord can and will use all for his glory!
The kingdom or nation one lives in, the king or leader one ascribes allegiance to will determine their perspective. For some, for a few, those who travel on the narrow path; their kingdom is not of this world
