Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. A witness is someone who shared what they've seen and experienced. Accurately, of course =) So, in being witnesses for Christ, we are called to share what we've seen of Him in our lives and how we have experienced Him. I think it's worth noting here that this involves more than just presenting someone w/ a tract. When you witness, you're sharing what you've seen and experienced, not just "intellectual" facts, and not even always through words. Post Reply

The verse says nothing as you try to imply, and as for the truth, those that have received the Holy Spirit as Jesus taught know what the word says is true. The lord Jesus is the one that told the Disciples to what there in the upper room, I am confident he know what was important, he made it clear it was far more important to receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Just as in this post as side with one opposing the word of God, to try to make another look bad and you to be right. Question George who is Glorified in unbelief? Post Reply
