Admin	Why the Church of Philadelphia,not the Church of Smyrna Posted : 3 Sep, 2010 04:39 PM There are two churches mentioned in the book of The Revelation of the Lord Yehsua/Jesus,which Yeshua does not rebuke. These are the Church in Smyrna,and the Church in Philadelphia. Why does the Christians in America for the most part believe that they are of the Church in Philadelphia,when the Church in America resembles more the Church in Laodecia. Is there fear within the body of Yeshua: Fear from unbelief: Fear that the rapture may not happen,so that we use the church in Philadelphia as something likened to an escape clause in a binding contract. Our current "Christianity" is very self-righteous, and they are actually so very far from the character/gold of Christ that they should be striving for. They lack the spiritual discernment/eye salve to see their own pride and hypocrisy, and they are dressed in the filthy rags of faithless works and/or dead faith, when they should be trying to live like Christ and wear His pure humble faith/works. :peace::peace: Post Reply
